Michael Hayes is such a douche. Jericho has been around that company for 17 years, just tell him the finish when he asks.

For a guy who claims to give no you know what's...Brock seems rather over sensitive Most people that claim that usually are.

Why? At least this was planned and Orton knew what was going to happen. I don't see how it's worse than somebody getting KTFO in boxing or MMA. Because it's entertainment. This. There's also a f***ing lawsuit against the wwe because of concussions.

Because the shit's a work and you aren't gonna convince anybody in the world it's real even if you nearly bleed out. It's pointless and just nasty to look at. It's suspension of disbelief. It may not have been to your taste but it worked perfectly. It accomplished everything it could possibly accomplish, more than any fake wrestling move ever could. It made people believe, it made people feel, it got people talking, it was memorable. Far more than anything else on the show. As for "there's no point doing anything like that because no one believes wrestling is real", then what's the point of doing any dangerous moves at all then? Why aren't people disgusted by Rollins powerbombing Balor into a barricade? What positive affect did that really have? None. It wasn't even memorable. All it did was legitimately injure Finn Balor, who may now be out for six months because of a silly risk compared to Orton who will get some staples and probably be ready to work again in 48 hours.

Well, I guess we know who the next veteran getting fed to Brock is.
Seriously though, if the plan was for Brock to bust Orton open with an elbow, are people really getting on Brock for doing it TOO rough? I mean, do they expect him to have some sort of vast head splitting knowledge and knowing just the amount of proper force, pressure, and exact location to strike? Tough crowd...
This should be a lesson to all involved though, there's only one professional wig splitter in WWE, and it ain't Brock Lesnar.

Okay so Chris Jericho didn't beat up Brock Lesnar backstage...but let me ask you...who could? Yeah, let's do this again.

I'm not sure how anyone reads this story and comes away with any other initial reaction than, "thanks for nothing Michael Hayes. Your dumbass caused this".

My problem with last nights finish was that the one part of wwe going pg that I personally loved was the lack of blood. It's the one part of the tv-14 era I personally in no way wanted back. Shit turns my stomach.

Eh, I didn't see Summerslam, so I don't know the context, but both guys come off like tits to me. Jericho for overreacting to a situation he didn't have the full facts about, and Brock for IMMEDIATELY going off and starting shit instead of just explaining the facts. I get that Brock's got his silly "I'm an anti-social asshole" gimmick to protect, but still.

I feel it also bears mentioning that the whole "If you're not punching me that means you're weak/scared and therefore gay, do you want to kiss me?" thing is exact the kind of taunting I'd expect out of a bigoted dullard like Lesnar, and proves that he hasn't progressed that much from his old "write that down in your little notebook" self.

Because the goal of wrestling is to not hurt someone? Orton may have known but that doesn't change the brutality and pain behind elbowing someone in the head hard enough to split you head open and require 10 staples. You always get hurt in wrestling, it's unavoidable. It is brutal but it's a one-off moment agreed to ahead of time by both participants. You're entitled to not like it but saying "it's 2016" like it's some moral outrage just seems like a overreaction. Um, this was entirely avoidable, that is the point. Agreed upon or not, 2016 or 1916, letting someone elbow you in the head to split you open and have you bleed copious amounts of blood for the entertainment of others is crazed. It is even more crazed when it is 2016 and there other ways to achieve the look of having been split open by a person striking you in the head over and over again without actually inflicting the damage.

Sure but it's usually not this like this lol there were some people that acted as if Brocks head need to be on a pike i just don't understand how people care so much about something so easy to tell was worked or for that matter how anyone would defend someone who is actually a wrestler and should know it looked fake as hell after the elbows for not just waiting and asking Orton instead of getting all whiny.
