Michael Hayes ragged on Ambrose for ragging on Lesnar. He possibly started this fight because he chose to *seemingly* protect Lesnar. f*** Michael Hayes. Also f*** Brock Lesnar generally. Don't get in backstage fights if you don't care. Which based on your matches it sure God damn seems like you don't. Let's go over Brock's last two years, shall we? 2015 - - Awesome triple threat with Cena/Rollins - Great match with Roman Reigns - Good match with Rollins hurt by a short match time to set up for Taker's return - Great match with Undertaker - Another great HIAC with Undertaker And that's it besides two glorified house show matches aired on the network for 2015. 2016 - - A rumble appearance there to just set up a feud, not much to it like most Rumble appearances that are just there to set up for an elimination later - Really really good to great triple threat with Dean/Reigns - A boring match with Dean that was very creatively bankrupt by the writers leading it and hurt by Lesnar knowing he had a bigger payday and bigger stage than Mania around the corner at UFC 200 if he could stay healthy. - Orton match done so he could murder someone and re-establish himself after being pretty aimless as a character since the Taker feud. And that's it minus house shows/Roadblock(which was a house show). So overall the guy is still delivering in the ring and killing it every f***ing time. The guy has a persona that literally no one in WWE can duplicate and he brings a feeling to shows that can't be manufactured. He's awesome and connects and you can tell that when every german he did last night was crazy over and got Suplex City chants. If you don't like Brock fair enough but to say that because of one phoned in performance and some squashes he "doesn't care" is absolutely ludicrous. The biggest issue I have with the internet is that often it seems to operate in extremes. Either Brock Lesnar is the best thing in the business or "f*** him and he sucks" And it's downright silly. Lesnar is a monster. He's legit. He's fun to watch at least for me. If you don't like him or his style or even his personality that is completely fair but leave it at that. Anyway this whole situation just made me really roll my eyes at Jericho. We get it, you're worried, that sucks. There are better ways to handle it than throwing a hissy fit in gorilla position. Like f***ing talk to Randy Orton who appeared backstage minutes later. Makes him look like a geek. Brock's name came up in the bi-monthly lottery of who the Hive Mind will collectively turn on for cloudy reasons. He joins such luminaries as CM Punk, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, & Rock (among others.) Vegas posted new odds on who's next recently; Finn Balor opened with the most likely odds. Followed closely by Sasha Banks, Samoa Joe & Seth Rollins. This was all in the newsletter, check your spam folder.

I know that it's "old school" but the idea of intentionally busting somebody up hardway is not only barbaric but flat out moronic. It's 2016. Why? At least this was planned and Orton knew what was going to happen. I don't see how it's worse than somebody getting KTFO in boxing or MMA. Because the goal of wrestling is to not hurt someone? Orton may have known but that doesn't change the brutality and pain behind elbowing someone in the head hard enough to split you head open and require 10 staples.

Honestly Brock reminds me of the Jock in high school who can do what ever he wants without any consequences and the higher ups suck up to him.

Whomever came up with that finish deserves to be fired.
That was bullshit. Even if it was agreed upon Orton is probably concussed and what we know about CTE only shows that the wwe is negligent with its performers by booking that spot.
Props to Jericho standing up to himself even if he was gonna get his ass kicked.

You know what, I'm going to stop replying to this seriously and just enjoy the absolute insanity of this.
Jericho vs. Lesnar is a match I would definitely want to see.

Nah. Not even with the fallout. The fallout isn't even that bad. Just this incident and the Sasha stuff. Watch some older Summerslams and get some perspective. It's nowhere near Vince tossing his headset down and screaming 'f***ING HORRIBLE' after a Diesel main event at a In Your House and shifting the entire direction of the product. People are real quick to label things as the worst of all time lately. Off topic, I know, but which In Your House was that? Im real curious. And I agree, people are nuts with the negative hyperbole to the point it's almost comical. Great White North. That show was wretched.

You always get hurt in wrestling, it's unavoidable. It is brutal but it's a one-off moment agreed to ahead of time by both participants. You're entitled to not like it but saying "it's 2016" like it's some moral outrage just seems like a overreaction.

Boxing and MMA is entertainment. It's all "entertainment". I just don't know how two guys agreeing to a real elbow to enhance a wrestling storyline is more barbaric than two guys getting into a cage and beating the shit out of each other for 15 minutes or until one gets knocked out cold. The bottom line is that they're all doing it for money anyway. If Orton wants to take a legit elbow from Brock as part of earning his money, then why shouldn't he be able to?

And Brock is packed and presented as an unstoppable, shoot fighting machine. I have my issues with the ending (mostly based in how "shades of grey" it was...was it a work or a shoot? Argh! It frustrated me) but with Brock's booking? Hell no. He is supposed to be death incarnate...an uncaring merc who only wants to murder death kill and throw his opponents around like rag dolls to toy with them before he kills them. Heyman is supposed to be his Don King...his Flavor Flav... And they play those roles to PERFECTION.

Having gone back and rewatched it I think Orton might have used that old trick of blading previously so that a future blow could easily open him up. Lesnar seems to know exactly when he's done it because after giving him a good shot in the key area (and before any blood is visible) he switches to just kinda hitting him in the shoulders and other harmless stuff. I think Lesnar just screwed up and scraped him with his fist giving him an ugly gash on the cut, instead of just reopening the cut which would have given Orton a plenty bloody face like intended.

Because the shit's a work and you aren't gonna convince anybody in the world it's real even if you nearly bleed out. It's pointless and just nasty to look at. I've been saying this for years. Everybody knows that wrestling is scripted. It's insane to go out there and badly hurt yourself FOR REAL. Especially since everybody who isn't an actual wrestling *fan* is going to think it's ALL fake anyway. You don't see Hugh Jackman sticking REAL razor blades in his hands in the X-Men movies to show off what a badass he is. That'd be *insane*. That the higher ups at WWE either scripted (or signed off on) "Have the big dude split the smaller guys head open in front of a crowd on TV" is ****ING STUPID. It's stupid on par with what those backyard wrestling goofballs get flack for.
