Brock's match with Punk at SummerSlam is Brock's best match ever. I know some people might agree, I just didn't know where else to post this.

AJ Styles is over rated and just another ignorant redneck from the south. Plus the stuff he did to Lazz years ago should have gotten him blackballed from the wrestling industry. The Young Bucks also are highly over-rated. When you have been wrestling as long as they have and not improved one bit it isn't good. After hearing how good Smackdown has been since it went live I have watched 4 full episodes. Nope it is still the same watered down crap WWE has been putting out for right at 15 years. Steve Austin hit his peak in WCW and it was downhill after he left. Plus just can't be a fan of a man that physically abused at least 3 women. He was still at the homophobic BS right up to his WWE run, but people give him a pass because of his workrate. It irks me to see people rant about Bubba Dudley being a homophobe in character, when he actually apologised for it and mended fences as best he can, while people just look the other way when it comes to AJ. I saw the same thing happen after Warrior died. The same posters, not here but at another place, praising him when for years they hated him for all the racist remarks he made years ago.

Garrett Bischoff and Erik Watts could have been stars had they gone through a normal developmental process, heading to wrestling school and working at a low level before being put on TV, their overpushes meant they were hung out to dry. I'll agree with Erik, he wasn't bad in his later years. But his initial push was just too unbelievable to buy into. That was probably the first push I recall people shitting on due to obvious nepotism. (I'd say Greg Gagne, but he wasn't awful. He was a solid worker, despite being so bland as a personality.)

Jay did at least apologize for what he said. AJ I doubt never will. If it wasn't for some of the rules here I would post what I have heard he said/did to Lazz back when they were both working lots of GA indies.

Warrior was underrated in the ring
Kidman and The Wall could've been huge if WCW didn't collapse when it did

Will Ospreay is overrated and shouldn't have won BOSJ.
Maybe it's because I've only seen him in TNA/ROH, but I don't see the hype for Jerry Lynn.
3 Count were amazing.
I'm not a fan of Sexy Star winning the LU Title.
I happen to like Zack Sabre Jr.
The Young Bucks are great.

NXT is boring as hell. And has been since Dusty died. Just shows that Dusty was the real mastermind behind NXT and not HHH like lots of people believe.

Schiavone was a better announcer than JR. Even when reading what bischoff wrote for him like a shill, he still had a professional voice that suited the action. Jr only worked when he was yelling at the edge of his seat.

NXT's head writer from that time period is now writing Smackdown so the entire creative heart of NXT was scooped out in a short space of time, but yeah. Triple H doesn't book NXT, he doesn't assign and develop characters, he doesn't train or even recruit guys, his role is more office staff than anything creative, but people are so desperate for hope that the WWE will improve he's credited with everything positive about NXT so there's hope for the future, and the fact he poses for pictures every time an internet favourite wins something doesn't help. 'Me! His success is all me! It doesn't matter how long he spent working podunk indies, honing his craft so he knows how to work a crowd, his success is all my doing. Me!'

Kurt Angle is one of, if not the best pure wrestler in the history if the sport, but while he's great at the mechanics of wrestling, I think he has the same problem that so many other WWE/WCW trained guys have, that he doesn't fully understand what makes a good match. Without guidance from an experienced opponent or a strong hand backstage, he basically shows off what he can do without rhyme or reason like he's working an indy in 2002.

He did give a green Brock Lesnar the best matches of his career.

I had no idea how much of FCW/NXT was Dusty until talking to Rob Naylor a few years ago.

Samoa Joe is nothing that special. In fact, there is nothing he does better than Sheamus. Related note, Sheamus is very underrated. He is solid on the mic (even above average as a heel) and he is really good in the ring. He is one of the few that can work with anyone of any style. He is great with big guys, he is great with little guys.
When Randy Orton is motivated, he is the best wrestler in the world.

While I can agree to some extent on the WWE spinner belt being bad looking, I do, however, love the US championship spinner belt.

Jr only worked when he was yelling at the edge of his seat. I believe Tony catches way too much crap for stuff that was beyond his control (like the whole Butts in Seats thing). Tony could make it sound like an upcoming Lodi vs Glacier match on THUNDER was the biggest thing since Hogan vs Sting. Sure you knew he was full of shit, but it sounded like he honestly believed it. Jim Ross missed the mark sometimes and nailed it other times. Overall I'd say Tony probably sold it better more consistently. It falls off fast when you start looking at current guys like Cole. Micheal Cole tries to do something similar with an actual "big" match, like say... Roman vs Kevin Owens, and it feels so fake and forced. Tony understood and embraces "The Shill". Jim Ross did too for the most part. King isn't too bad at it either. And Tony stage-drank SURGE like a rockstar! *turns the can slightly towards the camera* When Tony shilled SURGE, you wanted to try it. When Tony grabbed that can and tilted his head back, he looked like he was one step short of ascending to heaven right then and there. When the WWE preshow team has all their Mt Dew products lined up, almost nobody will touch it. King gets it. King will at least open the damn bottle/can and swallow one for the sell.

Zack Sabre Jr is That Dude. I don't care if he supposedly couldn't sell Rick James a bag of crack. I'm into him because he moves around the ring like a freaky lizard man.
Noam Dar is That Other Dude. He's one of the few Cruiserweights that have charisma.
As much as I like that WWE has given smaller talents a chance to showcase themselves, I really had no problem with most of the "WWE style" workers of the past. Many of them were decently talented and could get over if given a proper chance. Just because they didn't work the "super high spot" style didn't mean that they were shit. In fact, I think having more of those types of workers could help the cruiserweights out. You don't want to have the cruiserweights jobbing to Braun Strowman, but I actually believe that some of the heavyweights should be putting the Cruiserweights over. Hell, I'd say having more of the old not-great-but-okay WWE-style type workers around would help towards making the cruiserweight style be special again instead of something that practically everyone does.
