Most indy fans act like outside of Chikara,Evolve,ROH,CZW and PWG that no other indys exist. Just like how you rarely hear anything about all the great indies in TX/LA/MS/AL.

SD tag division is pretty much a joke aside from USO's/American Alpha.

Saying Molly Holly didn't have a big butt is like saying Sable didn't have big boobs. Was the angle in horrible taste? Absolutely. But a lot of people on forums before the angle began took note of how big it was only to turn into white knights after.

I can't speak for everyone, but my main issue was that the angle made no sense because Trish also had a big butt.

I can't speak for everyone, but my main issue was that the angle made no sense because Trish also had a big butt. Even then, it ties into the reason for a very, very older version of it, why the Piggie James angle was not as bad as the Molly/Vickie Guerrero fat-shaming angles were. At least with Piggie James, yes- Lay-Cool were far more brutal about what they said about Mickie- but at the same time, THEY WERE THE HEELS. They were the bad guys, Mickie James was the babyface, and so the fan is 'really' supposed to believe "Lay-Cool are such assholes for saying that. Mickie's not fat, she's gorgeous!". It's still a question- but at least you're supposed to HATE the people saying it and DISAGREE with them. By contrast, Molly/Trish and Vickie getting attacked by Jerry Lawler failed because Jerry Lawler or Trish Stratus WERE THE FACES. You were supposed to boo Molly or Vickie for being such fat, ugly slobs who are so evil and fat and ugly and fat and wicked, and the fans are supposed to inherently agree with Trish or Lawler for being willing to say these things about them- which makes it far worse.

Miz is going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame one day, and he easily deserves it.

While I can agree to some extent on the WWE spinner belt being bad looking, I do, however, love the US championship spinner belt. The US Spinner was beautiful. I say that with no irony, it was a gorgeous looking belt.

-William Regal has always bored me and his run as King/GM of RAW or whatever was awful. The only time I thought he was ok was in the Eugene angle.
-Heel Michael Cole was awesome. WWE just overdid it (as they tend to do when they stumble on a good thing.) But him despising Daniel Bryan, unabashedly marking out for The Miz and staying in the glass case were all hilarious.
-JBL even at his worst is less annoying than Jerry Lawler.
-The vast majority of The Attitude Era is painful to watch now.
-I didn't mind Orton beating Christian for the world title a few days after Christian won and honestly thought it was kind of funny.
-CM Punk post-pipe bomb and Daniel Bryan during the Yes movement were the WWE's last two chances to create mega crossover stars and the way they botched both so badly did irreparable damage to fan goodwill.
-Kane is one of the best WWE performers of all time. (He's in my top 5 but even I think he's overstayed his welcome.)
-I think people are really overestimating Triple H's ability to run the WWE some day. What NXT does just isn't replicable on the main roster because of way too many shows and hours to fill. NXT works because they know less is more.

The BROKEN Matt Hardy/Brother Nero/Total Nonstop Deletion stuff is really lame. I think it's comparable to WCW's White Castle of Fear. There I said it and now I feel better.

Gorilla saying 'Will you stop?' doesn't make Bobby Heenan's racist schtick on commentary okay. People pretend that the rubbish he spouted was okay back in that era but it wasn't, comedy changed a long time ago. He was acting like Don Rickles 10 years after the rise of SNL, guys like Eddie Murphy, Chevy Chase and such, well into the era of Seinfeld and the Simpsons. The stuff he spouted about guys like Tatanka didn't get them more over, didn't gain them any sympathy or further any feuds they were having, it got Heenan over and made them the punchline to a series of bad jokes.
It bugs me a lot because he could be an amazing colour guy, he helped make the 92 rumble so memorable with his constant rooting for Flair, but for all the bright spots there's a sea of crap and his WCW run.

I have nothing but love for Misawa, but he was broken down and not much fun to watch by 2005. He should have retired by then.
WCW in the mid 90s had a lot of crap, but there was stuff I enjoyed about it. The Dungeon of Doom were so stupid they were kind of endearing. And Flair in early 1996 was awesome, hijacking the commentary booth and sneak attacking everyone left and right. "Hogan! We got the belts! We got the girls!"

I can understand why WCW treated Ric Flair as badly as they did from 94 onward. Good as he is, the guy is an ass, and they didn't need his star power as badly so chickens came home to roost for the Nature Boy, all his temper tantrums, politicing and other nonsense no longer flew and the knives came out from people who he was an ass to while on top. He could have gone back to the WWF to get away, but he didn't want to take a paycut.

Far worse, though, are the people that try to treat it like it's some "avant garde re-imagining" of the art form of wrestling. Nah. It's just two meth-heads from NC that are fantasy booking silly backyard bullshit, but with a budget.

I think Bret & Owen are overrated....
I think the Rock has ALWAYS been incredibly overrated....
I have never had a problem with Triple H.
I am still a CM Punk fan.
I dunno if any of those (besides the first one probably) qualify as sacrilege but it's those were the first things I thought of.

I'm not sure how "controversial" it is as an opinion, but I think that Owen was a better wrestler than Bret. Likewise, Kane is a better wrestler than The Undertaker. The reason being that both are/were more diverse than their more talked up counterparts. They could do the serious stuff, but they could also do comedy or whatever a situation required, whereas Bret and 'Taker were pigeonholed.

RAW has been better than SDL ever since Ellsworth showed up. IMO, the only reason some people think that SDL is still better than RAW is because Roman Reigns is so hated, and because of the three hours.

The Broken Matt stuff is no more absurd than the stupidity involving Taker and Kane over the years, the only difference is it's being played for laughs.
