Let's be real, if Rollins hit a Pedigree at that same moment, it would have been a false finish. And if HBK hit the SCM, it would've been game over, a Stevie Richards super kick, probably not. What's the point of guys kicking out of multiple finishers and video game high spots if the only finisher that is actually protected belongs to the almost retired boss? Having guys kick out of everything and the act like they are in a coma the minute Trips hits a Pedigree is ridiculous. That's more a complaint about match structure than anything else but it's still stupid.

I was the biggest Triple H mark there could be from 97-2002 and now he's probably my most loathed wrestler. I know he can still be entertaining but his ego and insecurity (and his wife) have made wrestling the least enjoyable it's ever been for me, and I've loved it my whole life. Mania 32 was the turning point for me - a Triple H and his Boy title main event angered me so much I have watched only one full episode of wrestling since then, the longest break I've ever had.
I don't accept him as this saviour that everybody else does either - he's proven that when he's involved, he puts himself and his ego ahead of the business. Anything that's good in wrestling he has to get involved with, and even the praise he does deserve for NXT, he needs to be seen as the figurehead. Vince never sought any applause and would almost always make himself look bad for other people.
I don't exaggerate when I say that every wrestling fan I've ever known has been driven away by him. I'm the only one left and he's starting to do it to me too.

I like how Kevin Owens is the new WWE Universal Champion yet HHH is apparently the bigger story here.

It's the same old shit. He always finds a way to incorporate himself into the picture.

Triple H is no Flair.
For one thing he still looks fantastic and can have great matches when he wants to.
Hunter back on TV can really go either way and at this point I can't even predict what is happening.

Trips forcing himself into the main event picture as a badass is the What chant of the 2010s. I can't stand it, and it refuses to go away.

So let’s have a little look at what Tripple H managed to accomplish in 5 minutes;
-He got “revenge” on Roman Reigns, which will surely lead to Roman taking revenge on Tripple H. Unless they are just planning a backstage beatdown, this could lead to another Tripple H vs Roman match, which I don’t think a lot of people liked last time, and probably won’t like again (I know a few Tripple H fans at the board here will disagree with me though).
-He stomped on Seth Rollins, a heel. Unless they are planning to turn Rollins face and have him feud with Tripple H (which unlike Roman vs Tripple H, actually sounds like a good feud, IF they book it this way), this was just a complete waste of Seth Rollin's momentum, as he can't get any sympathy from this due to being a dick.
-He completely illegitimated Owen’s first run as WWE champ by "handing him the title". Seriously, no good champ should ever be "handed the world title", no matter how much heat creative thinks this gets you. If you are an Owens mark, I can’t imagine you would be very happy about his first reign starting like this. Sure he is a heel, but Owens is a natural heat machine, and doesn’t need a “Tripple H screwjob” to generate noise.
Why not just have Owens win clean? If you want someone to be a legit champ, you should let them win a big match like this. Roman is already pretty much humiliated at this point, Seth is a natural heel that doesn’t need wins to be over and Big Kaz was already eliminated, so why did we need Tripple H?
The answer is simple, we didn't need Tripple H. He needed to insert himself in the main event once again. Tripple H and Stephanie are the worst, egotistical, self-centered people in the WWE. They need to step down and let their amazing talent (which as almost never been as good as it is now) be in focus instead of projecting themselves into our faces all the god damn time.

He has the same thing that his idol Flair, Hogan, Angle and several others have had. The mindset of "If I'm not in the spotlight, then no one else is going to be in it."
He and his shrieking harpy will keep forcing themselves into it at the expense of others
