Luckily, there is ALOT of material to use, and I have about 150+ at the moment with my collection growing on a weekly basis. So, this thread will be updated accordingly when I post a new one!

What a great idea, thanks for sharing. I think that I actually had that edition of The Wrestler. I used to love reading the Apter mags back in the day, they just seemed so real and made me feel like I was finding out things that my friends didn't know.
I kept editions from 1990-98 for years, before eventually getting rid of them due to needing the space. It was always good to pick up a random edition and flick through it, though.

Glad you enjoyed it as well! The magazines are pretty neat. I mean, it's quite obvious the writers TRY to get the characters when they do the interviews or quotes, but it is hilarious just how corny they are with it. Sometimes, their guesses are spot on, too. I've liked the foreshadowing they had for Bulldog turning heel for a championship match. Not sure how obvious it was he was going to turn heel in '95. I'm hoping to get another one done this weekend, and I'll be sure to share again!

I still recall 31 years ago, an Inside Wrestling interview with Jerry Lawler, vowing he'd retire if he didn't win the AWA or NWA world title by the end of 1985.
Whoever wrote it had Jerry drinking bourbon.

It was nice seeing some familiar but forgotten names in the article too - Chris Bernucca, Andy Rodriguez, two of the Apter mag writers. Not that I want to shatter any myths or memories, but I've learnt in recent years that Liz Hunter and Matt Brock were fictitious creations, which was slightly disappointing. Not only were the interviews made up, some of the writers were too!

There was an interview with Harlem Heat, back when Sherri was managing them. And the writer implied that when he showed up to the hotel room... well that Harlem Heat was "tag teaming" Sherri. That one always stood out as very odd to me.

Hopefully, I'll find that Harlem Heat interview. LOL

I've long heard of Terry Funk doing a moonsault, and have often wondered what it would look like. Now I know!

I was a big fan of the wrestling magazines when I was a kid. Some of my favorite Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazines were the ten year anniversary special from Sept. 1989 with the timeline of matches inside and the golden border on black design for the Aug. 1990 cover featuring Ultimate Warrior's victory at WrestleMania VI. There was also a PWI Annual which I believe was from Spring 1989 that was loaded with pics covering the career of Randy Savage.

Oh man, as soon as I saw the words 'Computer Challenge', I knew which edition it was! With hindsight, of course, there probably was no computer! Another nice nostalgia kick, dude, thanks for sharing.

"Staks thinks that Goldust pursuing a relationship should have led to a fine or suspension." Imagine having to be the HR representative who has to sit down with Goldust.
