Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas don’t like the criticism they’ve gotten in WCW. Dustin Rhodes is bummed about Barry Windham turning on him. Does Randy Savage need a break from wrestling? Being a smaller wrestler is in instead of being a larger than life persona. Kevin Sullivan recent attacks and blood feud with Brian Lee in SMW. All this plus much more in the magazine, WrestleAmerica April '93! wrestlingrecaps.com/2017/05/17/inside-the-magazine-volume-21-wrestle-america-april-1993/

Sheik Fabiano = the original Mahammad Hussein. Not joking, Fabiano used that name for a brief time while teaming with Fidel "Cuban Assassin" Sierra as the Communist Connection. Jammer never made it out of AWA. After the promotion folded, he worked a few local indies before retiring, his career lasting about five years.

Wonder if WWF really was tinkering with splitting them at the time. It only took a couple more decades. On WCW's first forays into New York: Never change, Big Apple. I love them trying build-up some sort of Luger/Hughes relationship like it was HBK/Diesel deal.

That's either a rib on the mag's part or Tommy Rich really liked how much coverage he was getting in them - Tommy Rich the wrestler is from Hendersonville. That's...really sad for all sorts of reason. The former WWWF champ, who was still a high midcarder at this point (and just shy of the Nikita revival), losing consistently to one of THE worst 2nd gen wrestlers in the history of the business. I can never keep this one straight. Angel was his valet in Memphis and in World Class for a short time, he had a valet named Raven --- One of them was his cousin, but I can never remember which one. You know how you can tell Gary didn't really take part in this piece and it was written by the mag editors? He doesn't refer to Dusty as "Virgil." He did that when talking about Dusty. A lot. As much as the Apter mags tended to just make shit up all the time, something tells me that this is legit. Man, Kelly was getting razzed by wrestlers before he was even in the business. No wonder the Rock gave him so much crap. And 33 years later, 205 Live shows this still hasn't been quite figured out properly.

Inside The Magazine Volume #30: The Wrestler January 1997 Ted DiBiase sits down for a Q&A regarding his association with the New World Order. Hulk Hogan could buy WCW? The Undertaker may have lost Paul Bearer, but could that have been a good thing for his career? New Jack heads to ICW to battle Bruiser Bedlam, but what is more extreme, ECW or ICW? Also, Owen Hart and British Bulldog nearly had their team ruined, but battling in a singles match actually brought them closer. All this and much more inside the magazine! wrestlingrecaps.com/2017/09/20/inside-the-magazine-volume-30-the-wrestler-january-1997/

Can the Fantastics replace the Rock N’ Roll Express in the NWA? Bad Company could be the tag team of 1988. Has Hulk Hogan turned into a rule breaker?
