Nah, dude's awesome. Great, unique style, and a "I'm so good, it's literally boring me to stretch you into a pretzel" gimmick that is apparently working EVERYONE here, so...yeah, dude's brilliant. No if we were worked he would be getting heel heat. He creates apathy. The opposite of what working is. Yeah, that's why there's always like...3 threads here about him after every CWC he's on. Yeah, no one gives a shit....

He's a fantastic wrestler who f***s himself over by being the technical version of a spot monkey. It's not impressive to go through a thousand holds a second, it just makes it look like you suck and can't hold on to anything you're doing. Plus he makes it look way too telegraphed, like his opponent is standing there mildly annoyed while this twink is like "Hold on dude, w-wait, hold on, this is gonna be really cool once I get it set up." All I want is for him to cool his jets, and put on some muscle mass or something. I think he could undergo a Tyler Black-esque transformation where all the raw talent is clearly there but he needs to learn how to keep himself in check and learn psychology. This, so f***ing much. Dude was hyped up as the better than sex on here, like I should be basked in a warm golden glow every time he graced my screen with his presence. But nah. No ring psychology, no charisma, his look is awful (Even his jacket looks goofy as all hell). This is coming from someone who f***ing loves technical wrestling. Regal and Malenko are amongst my favourite wrestlers of all time. But they did it much, much better. I suppose it's easy to look impressive via GIFs of your individual spots being posted on tumblr and Twitter. But when it comes to stringing them together into a decent match, Sabre falls flat on his face. I'll echo what others have said, Jack Gallagher does the whole thing better, with the gentlemanly twist thrown in to give it a bit of extra spice. Give me him over Captain Bored McShitjacket any day of the week.

Wait I love this idea that he purposefully bores people to "work them".
ZSJ main events WM37, wins the WWE Heavyweight 7 Oceans Title in a 4 way match between Drake Younger, Robo Daniel Bryan, and Gangrel. Meltzer gives his first ever 6 star match rating. Capacity crowd so loud that the roof literally blows off the joint causing physicists to be rather confused. It's known as the best performance of all time.
ZSJ comes to the back looking sad. Vince's head in a jar asks him "Sup bro? Why you looking like Charlie Brown?"
ZSJ says he's sad that his gimmick didn't work this time... people weren't bored. He failed everyone.

Just based on the CWC, except for this past week which I haven't watched, Jack Gallagher scratches the same technical wrestling itch but has way more charisma. Gallgher also has another element: He's technical, but has fun with it Ok, so ZSJ will "tie you in knots" with his skill. Jack took it to the extreme, he LITERALLY tied Tozawa in a knot so he could kick him up the arse.

Much like I'm tickled by the idea of "The guy that no one cares about, yet can't stop discussing".

And they're 100% in the world of kayfabe still, so they were absolutely AMAZED at the fact Jack could do this to a man. Jack is something special.

I have no strong feelings about him one way or the other. I wouldn't even rank him in the top 5 of the most impressive showings thus far though.
On a side note, I was watching with my sister (who is a fan but more casual) and during his match with Noam out of the blue she's just like "I don't like this guy" in reference to Zabre Jr. When asked why she couldn't describe it. Just something about him annoyed her, so it's funny to see that she's not alone in that regard.

God bless that psychology.

Closest to mad I got last night was how selling the leg injury that Dar worked over the match began and ended with him going "Aah!" and rubbing his knee a few times. This is made all the worse by Rich Swann putting in all into selling his knee injury the very next match. Much like I'm tickled by the idea of "The guy that no one cares about, yet can't stop discussing". What's Roman Reigns have to do with this?

I have no idea who he is, so I don't have an opinion on him, but why is he so disliked?

I have no idea who he is, so I don't have an opinion on him, but why is he so disliked? Disappointed is the better word judging from the board. Most here find the dude boring as hell, and since he was a "known" name going into this a lot of people were hoping for better than "paint drying in the ring".

I just watched his match against Dar, his non existent selling and facial expressions made me not want to see him again.

I have no idea who he is, so I don't have an opinion on him, but why is he so disliked? He came in with an insane amount of hype as the best technical wrestler in the world. Then he came in and he's, well, boring as hell. You know the vanilla midget label of people with no charisma doing lots of holds for no reason? He's actually been doing it. But some people love his style so we get debates like here. It hasn't helped that another guy in the tournament, Jack Gallagher is also English, also extremely technical and also has a gimmick and ton of charisma in the ring, so he seems even worse since there's someone in his niche but better.

Much like I'm tickled by the idea of "The guy that no one cares about, yet can't stop discussing". You do realise the whole "You're getting worked!" argument is flimsy as hell, especially in this context? Not having charisma isn't a gimmick. It's just a fact of matter. I get that you like the dude man, but everybody has their shortcomings. Hell, I mentioned Dean Malenko earlier as a favourite of mine, but dude couldn't talk to save his life. I'll gladly say, Sabre's technically sound, but he has no ring psychology. He needs a solid vet like Regal or Finlay to show him how to properly build on these awesome technical things he does. Then he'll truly be one of the best.

Wait back to his "gimmick". Maybe he should be the intermission match. I can hear Vince now...
DAMMIT Zack! I need you to go out there and bore them to TEARS. I want them to go buy popcorn! I want them to go buy soda! I want them to buy goddamn Tootsie Rolls!
We have the big match up next between Roman and Frank the Clown, I need them to still be gone from their seats during the entrances dammit!
Now go out there and bore them like growing grass, only you can do it, WORK THOSE MARKS BY BORING THEM!
