This is going to be a hugely unpopular opinion, but I am not digging Alexa's look. Harley Quinn, while the women who play her are attractive, is a glorified Stockholm syndrome/abuse victim. And I see Alexa as a strong girl, so seeing her kind of dress like that, is not cute. The Harley gimmick is pandering to the men who like Harley, because she will do anything for Jokers approval, no matter how abusive he is to her, because she isn't well in the head. And we as a society view that type of behavior as "cute" and "sexy" and its really not. Alexa is a great wrestler, and I think she should keep her own identity. But that's just me.
Cue the angry male comments in 3... 2... 1..

I just like pigtails in general. Women should wear them more.

I liked the look for a one-off thing, but I hope she goes back to her own look next week.

Well I mean wrestlers in the past have had looks clearly drawn from major pop culture characters, but that weren't necessarily endorsing the personalities or acts of them. I mean when Rey Mysterio had a Joker look for WM25, I don't think anyone assumed that Rey was glorifying murderous and sadistic psychopaths after all.

She plays the "unlikeable bitch" character very well. Her in-ring work leaves something to be desired but I'm looking forward to this program with Becky. She can hopefully carry Alexa to some good matches and their characters could make for a fun dynamic.

I don't really care how Alexa cosplays, she just looks awesome in pigtails. It has to be those HIGH pigtails too. Of course she looks good in anything.

Yeah the Harley look was good for a PPV special but I wish she'd go back to black variant of this attire ![](http://i63.tinypic.com/15nt0tl.jpg) But keep the pigtails

I don't really follow comic books or anything but based on what I've seen of the character, everything leads to her being a mentally ill person that needs serious counseling and seems to be of the opinion that the only way to receive "love" is to take abuse along with it and has no understanding of what a healthy relationship actually is.

Two of my friends were just (politely) arguing about this over the weekend, and the person on the pro-Harley side's argument in the end just came down to "No, you don't get it! She's with Poison Ivy now! It's not the same anymore!" I don't really know enough about comics to weigh in, though, so I didn't.

I hate comic book movies in general. They crank them out every 2 months and I'm sick of them. This is probably due to me being a jerk though that hates anything people like. =P

Harley isn't with Joker anymore and in one issue beat the everloving shit out of him for all his abuse over the years, And she's not with Ivy either (although they have some "Fun" now and then) Since Ivy lives in Gotham & Harley in Coney Island.
Joker obsessed Harley is about 3/4 years out of date.

I want Alexa to dress like the Quaker Oates guy. Nothing turns me on like a quick yet hearty breakfast.

I said Harley is a glorified Stockholm syndrome/abuse victim. And Alexa is supposed to be the strong bitch character, so playing up a mentally unstable abuse victim doesn't make sense. The irony, is the WWE is on this whole women's revolution/wanting people to be taking women's wrestling seriously thing, which is great, so again, if that's the case, then her playing a Harley type character doesn't make sense. Its like a mixed message from the WWE.

I guess my immediate thought was Bliss is just appropriating the aesthetics of Harley because it looks cool/quirky, regardless of the history of latter character. If you know anything about Quinn, in terms of personality wise the two don't quite match no, but as I said neither did underdog babyface Rey Mysterio dressing up as crazed killer Joker. I can't speak to how all fans are reacting to this look, though I suspect for a considerable amount of them its something roughly equivalent to "Oh, Harley Quinn thing; neat."

I appreciate what you did.
