DCeased ends in October, and as it's a 5 week month its final 2 issues will ship the first week of the month AND the last week of the month (10/30; convenient). And apparently all DC titles will have a DCeased/zombie variant that month to celebrate.

And DC's November cover scheme are the ol' acetate cover gimmick - a sheet of plastic over the regular cover, with one of the images being a big spoiler for the comic (I'll assume the cover underneath, for logical reasons). From what I can tell, though, this stunt will keep the books at normal price; one would expect a price increase.....though it looks like DC's recent trend of cardstock covers that increase the price to $4.99 will be continuing.... Advance solicits are out, and apparently these covers spoil a bunch of stuff - in particular: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Supergirl and Hawkman will be 2 of the Batman Who Laughs infected heroes, spinning out of the event of the new Batman/Superman series.

Also, Superman#17 ought to rile up some of Bendis' less-kinder critics {Spoiler}The cover depicts a cackling Lois Lane attacking her husband with kryptonite. I doubt this is actually going to happen, Lois and Clark are still together in Doomsday Clock and, regardless of what some think, DC are still building to that

The decision to let Bendis completely destroy Superman & Action Comics when Jurgens & Tomasi were killing it just boggles the mind (Infact A LOT of DC's decision have boggled the mind).
Batman #50 was like opening Pandora's Box, Since then DC just went to shit.

House of X would be aninteresting way to integrate mutants to the MCU/explain where they've been. Doubt they go that route, but could work.

Is there any stated or logical reason why these 2 books are SO behind? Doomsday Clock makes more sense since they have to (at this point) be tying its finale to a major shakeup in the DCU; also, Gary Frank's artwork looks like it could be taking a while (though I think him posting art every so often may be a sign he's not the issue). Shazam, OTOH, who knows. It can't be an art issue, the book's basically split between 2 people (Eaglesham and Santalucci), and the story content.....can't be that vital to the DCU at large.

Also bad since... you know he just had a popular movie come out and if they want to check out the comic all Billy they've had is the crazy psychopath version.

Huh. Maybe that (idiot) decision is why the MAIN SHAZAM BOOK is now having its shipping affected. *insert old rolls eye emoji here*

Scott Lobdell talks a bit about Flash Forward and reveals some details on the first couple of issues in this podcast It...sounds rather encouraging all things considered. A spark of hope again. {Spoiler}Some good news for Wally/Linda fans, she's seen the tapes from Sanctuary and understands his anguish, she forgives him and encourages him to fight for his freedom. Wally travels to the Vampire Batman's dimension and meets up with it's version of Roy. www.reddit.com/r/DCcomics/comments/chrus2/we_had_scott_lobdell_come_on_our_podcast_to/

Also bad since... you know he just had a popular movie come out and if they want to check out the comic all Billy they've had is the crazy psychopath version. I wish there was more information available about how much foot traffic is drive to comic book stores after some kind of media tie-in, like a movie or TV show. I've asked a few comic store owners if they see an increase in people looking to buy a certain title after a movie or TV show has come out. They've all said no. If new comics readers try to find something after watching Shazam, they're probably going to go to Amazon to get a TPB. Even then, which book do you get? If the first page of results for "Shazam--Books" is anything to go by, you have several books that aren't out yet, a few that are almost $30 or more, and many titles that have words like "one," "origins," and "beginning" in the name. For a new reader, it's probably too much of a hassle to Google a reading list to find out where to start.

House of X would be aninteresting way to integrate mutants to the MCU/explain where they've been. Doubt they go that route, but could work. I honestly don't think they need to go any special route to introduce mutants. When X-Men #1 first came out way back when, they didn't explain why all the previous Marvel comics hadn't mentioned mutants. There's no point in placing things where there's already a billion mutants around - two or three movies a year isn't going to bring forth that massive amount of characters. Just make it like it originally started with X-Men #1 - While there've been a few around for a while, the world is suddenly starting to see a rise in the numbers of mutants. Those that have been around have mostly been in hiding or otherwise off the grid, or contained. They're around, but just haven't made it into the approximately 45 hours of world-building that we've seen (especially now that some, if not all, of the TV shows are non-canon) or the conversations therein.
