So I just dropped back into Wonder Woman just to see how G. Willow Willow is doing ahead of her departure...and, erm, Diana's tie-in arc to Year of the Villain involves the death of Aphrodite at the hands of Cheetah, thus supposedly eliminating all love from the DC Universe. Hilarious given King and Bendis just outright ignore that with the couples they're controlling, but it does actually serve up a decent excuse for Barry/Iris and Arthur/Mera presently, poor Steve Trevor gets no luck or love in this case, as most of the time you can never tell if he's being romantic or not, and now they're trying to make it canon that he doesn't have any strong feelings for Diana at all. Shame, these two were one of the last stable couples in the core DC titles.

Read the Archie/Betty portion of the latest Married Life mini-series {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Oof, it's not really a good time to be a Midge/Moose fan these days between this and Nick Spencer's run on the main book Midge and Moose in this reality have been split for years, Midge is now married to Jughead. Moose arranges a special "Renew Your Vows" party for couples in one of his last acts as Riverdale mayor and uses the platform to make amends with Midge, saying how sorry he was for treating her like a possession and acting the bully. She accepts and they have a nice hug, before Moose blesses her and Jughead as well as Betty and Archie. Veronica had been married to Reggie briefly, but they divorced, they use the day out to renew their friendship rather than their relationship

Meantime, DC broke up another couple {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Diana and Steve. Steve's a real dick about it, walking out on Diana while she's recuperating in bed from her fight with the Cheeta, telling her they've had problems putting in the effort to be together and he's tired of getting little attention...you know, the usual out-of-character nonsense that makes a character look bad

Had a feeling that death, which seemed to really mess with the flow of GWW's run (thanks Apex Lex!), was gonna lead to something not so great. This is not so great indeed.

It wouldn't surprise me if this whole thing is the reason Wilson's walking.

It wouldn't surprise me if this whole thing is the reason Wilson's walking. While it was the same kinda reason Jim Zub is leaving Iron Man ("dream job just opened up") it seemed......odd in her case here, so I would not be shocked. Unfortunate too, since her signing up for WW really seemed like a strong boost to the book.

DC's been doing some collaboration with AEW and produced some cool art of Jericho and Moxley.
