I'm pleased to see they can announce stuff at MCM London now instead of it just being a glorified side con that companies just put a stand in and call it a day.

Awesome! I love me some Doctor Aphra, although it takes a lot of the tension out of the last couple issues of the current series that haven’t come out yet.

IIRC this is the same Tony Isabella who said that they were turning BL into a servant to Batman over in the B&TO comic. So it sounds like Tony Isabella is on the outs with DC again. Aphra's a new announcement, but I thought Vader's book was announced at NYCC - written by Greg Pak, series taking place between ESB & ROTJ.

Same can be said for Harley. But that being said as much as I HATE the overuse of Batman, it makes sense as he sells books/movies/merch

"Superman Smashes the Klan" was a good read. Gene Luen Yang did a great job not only with tackling the subject of racism and its victims' different reactions to it, but his portrayal of Superman (and Clark) is spot on. Gurihiru's art is art is fantastic. This is the story DC/Warner Bros should be using for their next Man of Steel movie.

I kinda agree. I am tired of how much DC pushes Batman. Like their need to shoehorn him into all the animated films.

Ooh boy, comparing anything to Convergence is not helping it off to a great start.

I thought convergence was decent...well the tie ins anyway, They fixed the awful shit they did to Lian Harper (which was another brilliant Didio idea).

Convergence was mainly just so they could take the few months to move to California... wasn't it?

I kinda agree. I am tired of how much DC pushes Batman. Like their need to shoehorn him into all the animated films. He was NOT needed in JL Dark It's like Homer's idea for poochie. Even when Batman isn't around all the other characters should be asking "Where's Batman?"
