i enjoy rimmer....i haven't seen the episode in a while, but i remember one where there was a rimmer song....it was all trippy and such. it was pretty gnarly and tubular. i enjoyed that song. also, before i got into the show too much, i always thought the h on his head stood for hotdog....don't ask me why. Maybe if you click that link on page one, you will remember the trippy Rimmer song. And I always thought the A on your forehead stood for.... i try to avoid clicking on links....they take me to scary places with naked people sometimes....it's as if i was sent to prison and sentanced to picking up bars of soap for my entire duration there......it's awful. and the a on my forehead stands for asparagus, thank you very much....it's a very healthy food to digest....just like whatever i say is a healthy thing for your mind to digest. EDIT: i risked clicking on the link...and yeah, that's what i was talking about....not as trippy as i remembered....i probably watched it with a concussion last time.

I thought series 1-6 were great .. whilst series 7 onward were not so good.
Rimmer: Look, sooner or later, we're gonna have to face the fact that we're not all gonna get out of this in one piece. Or if we are, it's gonna be one big flat piece. Lister: And? Rimmer: It's time we decided who's gonna take the one-man escape pod. The Cat: How? Rimmer: Well, if you'll just bear with me, I think I've devised a fair and equitable system of choosing who should survive. It's based on age, rank, seniority, usefulness... to cut a long story short it's me. I was as stunned as you are, which is why I demanded a recount. But blow me! It didn't come out of me again! Keys? Lister: Rimmer, the escape pod is not an option. Rimmer: Why not? Lister: It escaped last Thursday. I was having a few beers. I didn't bother to get up, so I used the release mechanism as a bottle opener. [Imitates sound of escape pod travelling in space] Lister: Whoosh! Rimmer: That's it, then! We're finished!
Love the show .. so funny.

Forming my own opinions on new stuff sucks. I only like things I know how to feel about ahead of time."

The few episodes I've seen on PBS were pretty good but the only thing I distinctly remember was Cat meeting his clone/twin/doppelganger and both of them complimenting each others asses......
And then Lister hosted Robot Wars.
