When The Shield debuted, it was only Roman Reigns that had the established finisher of the spear. Like Ambrose you used to do that headlock sweep thing and Rollins did a high flying knee to the head that finished some matches, but the same amount of times someone has kicked out of that move before.

Brian Pillman after coming to WWF. I think he did a neckbreaker, like, once? I can't remember what pillman's finisher was from the time he turned heel in wcw

I have no idea what Funaki's finisher was. But then you did say high profile. When he became Kung Funaki he started using the Crane Kick. I only remember this because it ended up in a smackdown game.

Heath Later is WWE tag team champion and has no discernable finisher. He's had the Zig Zag, the black guy flatliner, the reverse DDT, back suplex into a sit out facebuster, the overdrive, the snapmare driver and a slingshot corkscrew. The only one that has stuck is the Smash Hit impaler DDT. Hilariously, most of those were in a short period of time, in the Nexus/Corre periods of his career, and much of them were called The Sweetness. That move was at least like 3-5 moves.

Going to the 80s here, Big John Studd. For a guy who was high-profile enough to be on the next-to-last match at Wrestlemania 1, i cant recall him having a proper finisher at all.

"The Dirty Deeds"

I can't remember what pillman's finisher was from the time he turned heel in wcw I seem to recall a whole lot of chop blocks (he turned heel by attacking Brad Armstrong's injured knee with the move). Don't actually recall if it had some dedicated name though.

Bobby Roode? I didn't watch enough of TNA to know if one stuck or not, but I recall reading he never really wfound a move that was made "his". Roode tends to change finishers when he changes characters. Team Canada era: Northern Clothesline (Clothesline to the back of the head) First Single run "Pays to be Roode": Pay Dirt (Fisherman Suplex) Beer Money: He did whatever IT factor Roode: The Roode Bomb (Looks like the AA turned Neckbreaker) Glorious Bobby Roode: The Glory Bomb (pumphandle) Beer Money was spear and crossface, unless I'm mistaken, which he continued to do as IT factor.

I think you're right, but Roode has been giving Test a run for his money in terms of having so many goddamn finishers.

Hakushi didn't last long in the WWE, but his schtick seemed to include winning all his matches in a different way.

I can't remember what pillman's finisher was from the time he turned heel in wcw Apparently, in 1995, his finish was the "crucifix armbar with neckscissors" according to Wiki. In 1997, he apparently used a neckbreaker. Ive been watching all the old Raws and Nitros and am currently in July 1997, and I don't think I've seen him win a single match.

I can mostly think of tag team guys. Did Ax, Smash, or pre break up Shawn and Marty have enough solo matches to have individual finishers? I'm pretty sure Hawk's was a neck breaker and Animal did a powerslam or Canadian Backbreaker.

Until 1987, I had no idea Roddy Piper's actual finisher was a friggin' sleeper hold.

Andre The Giant comes to mind, I don't think he truly had a finish, in the video games he has an underhook suplex and elbow drop, but I doubt either were established similarly to Hogan's leg drop or Piper's sleeper. Lots of historical wrestlers can apply, but lets keep this post 1970s. In recent years, the only ones I can think of who aren't non-wresting managers are Enzo Amore and Rosa Mendes. Enzo's actually has two established finishers. Tagging in Big Cass and Jumping off Big Cass. Heath Later is WWE tag team champion and has no discernable finisher. And like Enzo, Slater's finisher is tagging in Rhyno.

Well, when you think about it Roddy Piper really didn't towards the end of his run. I mean, the sleeper hold was still technically his finisher but I can't really recall him using it much the last 15 or so years of his career.

Did Ricky Steamboat really have a finisher? I don't think he had an established one, at least.
