No sign of the Meachum's or Gao. Hopefully that means they dropped that alliance between them and Davos that they teased at the end of season one. The whole thing never made any sense anyways. That said, I do hope Gao still does show up. I know everybody's burnt out on The Hand, but she was easily the most interesting of the group and I'd hate to think that her demise was being crushed by rocks off-camera. Ward was in a quick clip, but it was almost literally a blink-and-you'll-miss-it clip. He and Joy will almost definitely feature in some capacity, but they clearly wanted the focus to be on Davos. I figure Joy will be a bigger part of it, since the first season ended with her and Davos agreeing that Danny must die.

I watched first 2 episodes tonight
Enjoyable enough I thought. Off to better start than season 1 anyway, not that it was hard. Would liked to have seen more of Davos/Danny’s fight because what we did see if it looked brutal and the kitchen fight in episode 1 was good
Danny didn’t out right annoy me in season 1 but he could be annoying at times, seems less annoying since defenders
Only issue I have is Joy. Her reasons for teaming up with Davos at the end of season 1 really didn’t make sense to me and that hasn’t been corrected though doubt it can without a serious retcon to be honest
Plan to watch tomorrow and Monday night. Glad it is only 10 episodes

So as opposed to my normal plan of watching episodes in between other stuff and not finishing off these seasons until long since people stopped caring, I decided to just marathon all of Iron Fist season two all today. Over-all I thought it was good. A definite improvement over season one, but still not on par with the other Marvel Netflix shows. I very much liked the shortened seasons. I also finally finished off Luke Cage season two earlier this week, and while I thought it was a better show over-all then Iron Fist, it really felt like it only started getting going until around episode four or five, and those hour plus episodes towards the end really dragged. Iron Fist felt like it was moving at pace right out of the gate. That said, when Luke Cage season two was at its peak, I was ready to dive into a new episode as soon as the old one was done. Didn't really have that feeling with Iron Fist. Biggest problem with the season was trying to reconcile Danny's calm, centered appearance on Luke Cage with the stubborn and impulsive Danny on Iron Fist. They felt like completely different characters. So between what was going on with Rosalie Carbone in Luke Cage and the Triads on Iron Fist, I'm guessing that Marvel Netflix is heading towards some kind of mob war story down the line, probably with a recently released Wilson Fisk right in the middle of it all. Would work really well if they have another Defenders season lined up, but I don't think they do. And finally {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}What in the blue hell was going on in that last scene? Why was Danny doing his best Star-Lord impression? And are magic guns a thing in the Iron Fist comics?
Plus, no sign of Madame Gao. The season one ending suggested she had some stake in the Davos/Joy alliance, so it's surprising to see that she didn't play into anything at all in this series. Are they really just gonna say she died off-camera at the end of The Defenders? I know people were burnt out on The Hand by their end, but that is really anti-climatic.

5 episodes in, and it's flowing a lot better than season 1 did. You can never discount a good start to the season.

I'm 100% convinced that Turk survived The Fingersnap Turk will outlive everybody, but still end up having his day ruined by somebody. I'm almost beginning to feel sorry for the guy.

I liked it. It was better than the first season.
I liked how they started flesheing out more of a storyline for Ward. Sure he's still a dick, but the fact the he wants to make up with joy is pretty cool. I have friends who can relate to their relationship, minus the killing lol, so I'm emotionally invested.
Seeing Davos' backstory is cool too. He's like a tragic hero (hopefully I'm not using that term wrong). We all reltae to making out parents proud, and the fact that though he stole his powers (sorry I don't know how to do the spoilers stuff). And he says "I hope you can see me mom", it was nice

Better than last season 2 episodes in. Granted, bar was LOW.

I liked season two better than season one and I didn't want to see Danny get the breaks beat off him. However, I didn't like this season as much as other people here. There's one thing I always wanted that I got, but I feel like it got canceled out by events in the last scene of this season.

Ten episodes is much easier to go through than thirteen All of their shows need to be 8-10 episodes. Even the good seasons haven't been able to have nearly enough story for 13.

I think some people still have a bad taste in their mouths from the first one but I really enjoyed this one. I do think Colin`s fight scenes stole the show from Danny's.

No need to devote a whole episode to an origin story

And are magic guns a thing in the Iron Fist comics?. Apparently so. I looked into it after I finished the series tonight. The way that Orson Randall name was dropped, I figured he was gonna be a big bad for season 3 but apparently he was a former Iron Fist who wields his power vis magic pistol I enjoyed this season. Danny was a better character, fights were better....everything was just better really but when you start as low as season 1 then you can only go up

3 episodes in. Maybe I'm just foggy on what happened in season 1 but Joy's heel turn seems pretty unnatural to me. Yeah I get being pissed about the Harold thing, but it's seemingly nothing a conversation couldn't fix? Instead, she's Maria Dillard vol. 2.
And good lord episode 3 was the worst.
