Al Montoya just got Patrick Roy'ed. When I saw the score, I was hoping it was Carey Price for the lulz Let's be honest, if it was Price, no way does the team(sans Price) or Therrien get allowed back into Quebec ever again.

The Rangers 5+ goal streak will continue as they currently lead the Jets 5-2 after 2. EDIT: Wound up being the final.

Yo is Yakupov injured or being healthy scratched and why? Healthy scratch. Hitch changes the line-ups every half an hour. That's his thing. Before that Upshall was a healthy scratch, despite being our best 4th liner. Before that, Yakupov was on the 4th line for no goddamn reason. Hitch also needs to shoehorn his boy Jaskin in the line-up, despite the fact that he sucks. He also plays him on the 1st-3rd lines despite the fact that his skill set tops out right now as a 4th liner. Yak has been playing well and is completely healthy as far as I know. It pissed off a LOT of Blues fan to see him as a HS Saturday.

Yo is Yakupov injured or being healthy scratched and why? It does make me wonder if there's not more of an issue with Yakupov behind the scenes.

I'm wondering if the reports of him of still being a very nice guy but selfish to coaching changes are true at this point. Like dude flourished with Ralph and Nelson but seems to be hated by system coaches

Patrik Laine is still decent at goalscoring.

After a larger sample size I can accept that being an Avs fan is going to be rough this year.

Yakupov did not play last night either against Chicago. So he been a healthy scratch for several games even though he was dressed and out there in the pregame warm ups. Makes no sense for a guy who was playing well to not be out there against Chicago. The Game last night was a battle and so many times did the Blues had close call in scoring. The delay of games calls I question a lot against the Blues has it happened twice but yet not one called on Chicago even though at one point a player was laying on the puke and not moving longer than the delay of game calls where made.

Edmonton is never getting that 2nd round pick are they? If St. Louis keeps dicking him around during a RFA year I can see Yakupov heading to the KHL at the end of this season possibly.

Which is absolutely ridiculous. I can't stand Hitchcock. We're 27th in goals scored, and Yak is a healthy scratch and.....Jaskin (who is a terrible hockey player who is terrible) is playing with Stastny and Fabbri. Our best LW. Our best center. Playing with a guy who should be 50/50 to be our 12th forward.

I think he could made a difference last night. Greated the Blues had a winning streak going, going into last night but it's Chicago and you think you have all you top playing players out there.

Even though Yakupov's accuracy has seem to have regressed into Ray Charles wearing a blindfold territory from his rookie season, dude has an amazing release and if all his accuracy offseason has paid off in the slightest, it could really help the Blues. But seriously why did The Blues even bother trading for him in the first place? I feel bad for Yakupov that I kind of wish he was traded for Chicago even if it meant Oilers had to eat some salary.

See guys, all this silliness worked out for the best. Yak made a few plays, we didn't miss Fabbri at all, and we scored.....1 goal? That can't be right. 1 goal, huh? Well, I'll be damned.
