I thought he should've slipped a "for all my little Hulkamaniacs" in there.

I also loved Big E, who has documented several times that Goldberg is his all time favourite wrestler, being in the background going ballistic when Goldberg was walking backstage

Goldberg and Lesnar left in 2004 in one big heap of "we don't give a shit".
In one promo they've been able to capture a Goldberg who regrets this and does appear to care quite a lot, whereas from day one with Lesnar's return it has always remained about himself (just check out those interview promo segments he does) - smart, simple, booking to help clean up the mess they both left in 2004.

Quoting myself from the Raw thread: ]It helped so much that it was like "I wanna kick somebody's ass." So many promos are like "My name is blah blah blah, the Authority has done this and here is my opinion on that..." and it drones on for twenty minutes. This was just about fighting.

Best promo of his career. Hell, best promo I've seen in a long time.
Goldberg surprised everyone tonight. He came off as the biggest star in the business.

He was comfortable, he was being himself, he was excited, he interacted with the crowd and camera perfectly. He didn't seem like he was thinking or trying to do anything, it was all incredibly natural and it stuck out a lot on compared to what we usually see in the WWE environment.

Everything about that was great. Everything. That shit was just a guy coming back for one more round. Awesome.
The only thing that bothered me, and yeah I'm a nitpicker, was that his WWE theme played at the end. Seemed like they just had to get that WWE stamp on there.

You do all know he is going to job clean right? Nope. I refuse to believe WWE is stupid enough to pull a WCW Hogan/Warrior feud just so Brock can get his win back. Shenanigans will ensue. Most likely Brock's inevitable Mania opponent distracts him and Goldberg spears him dead. That or maybe you're right and I'm just hoping they kill this worthless "Brock Lesnar, destroyer of the streak, invincible badass" garbage. Enough crying about a payoff. It's been almost three years. There will never be a payoff. Give us the feel good ending.

I really want them to hold off until the Royal Rumble in the Alamodome for this match. This is honestly a match I think deserves to be in a big arena. The Toronto crowd at Survivor Series will boo him out of the building and I don't think he deserves that.

I'm a bit in the dark here... What is this "Toronto will hate Goldberg" thing based on? There seems to be more to this than just "LOL BIZZARO WORLD".

Makes sense, I guess, but I'm not sure how much of an axe there should be to grind for an injury that happened nearly 17 years ago, one that I assume was by complete accident. Doesn't seem the same as the heat Michaels would get from the screwjob, anyway.

You do all know he is going to job clean right? Sure. He's simply here to pop a rating, sell the new video game and a bunch of shirts, and maybe get a Hall of Fame Introduction at the end of it like Sting. But damn if I say I didn't enjoy the hell of that segment tonight, and so far they have me sold.

That was great. I loved how psyched he seemed after the promo and how he was interacting with the fans.
