There has been almost no chance of Trump winning this for many months now. Every time they say the polls are getting closer they still show a pretty easy victory for Hillary. I voted early and I voted for Gary Johnson not because I like him but because i can't stand Hillary or Trump. People say a 3rd party vote is a wasted vote. I disagree, the current two party system got us these two choices that not many people seen to be too enthusiastic about. If you keep saying "it's useless, they can't win" then I think you're missing the point. Maybe they get 5% this time, 10 the next, and become legitimate contenders down the line. I see nothing wrong with more options to choose from. Thing is, people have been saying Trump won't win since he announced he was running that he would never make it past the primaries, never become the front runner etc etc. That's why many (including myself) are so nervous. Trump has a legit chance of winning, and the that thought is scary. I was convinced that Trump was gonna pull this off until the "Grab'em by the p****" tape came out, and the allegations that followed. I really think that cost him this election, but I guess we'll see tonight.

This would have been less contentious if... 1. Social media wasn't a thing 2. Some people don't support their political parties like they do they're local sports teams 3. When someone says "Yanno I don't think I like Hillary" the response isn't "oh so you love Donald Trump???" And vice versa. Political discourse is dead, whatever was left of it. Totally derailing this thread, and pardon me if I have asked before, but who is in your avatar? YouTube "tabby on ze farm" I gif'd it from the first second or two

Trump isn't anti-Latino. This is something the media has been trying to push and it's BS. He is anti-illegal immigration, and so am I. Also, I'm Hispanic myself. The racism claim is perpetuated by the biased media.
On that note, how is Trump a racist when Hillary has referred to Hispanic voters as the "taco bowl"

He has tons of black and Hispanic supporters. I have been watching is speeches and, despite the media trying to paint his rallies as gatherings for rich white folks, they are anything but. Lots of working class people there.

Anti-immigration is one thing, straight out saying that those the come from Mexico for a better life are all rapists and criminals is an ok thing to say? That's without evening bringing up his awful comments on women and generalising comments on Muslims. But poor Trump, it's all the bad media, making him 'look bad'.

So hopefully, that acts as the first domino, in a similar fashion to how Colorado and Washington acted as the first dominos for pot legalization.

Going to vote once I get off of work. Ultimately, I'm voting for who I think would do the best job as President overall. That's why I'm going to vote for Hillary despite her faults.

Don't forget, claiming an American born judge of Mexican origin can't do his job fairly because of his race is pretty much textbook racism. Then there is the less offensive but still laughably tone deaf pandering like this (though god knows Hilary Clinton isn't innocent of this either with her Abeula, hot sauce in her purse nonsense) I doubt Trump is really all that racist himself. He's attitude is probably just "f*** everyone but Trump." I think he just seems pandering to racist far right wing as politically useful, but bringing legitimacy to those kind of voices for personal gain is probably worse than just being racist.

I live in Kansas a very red state...I'm a democrat so yeah I'm not the most popular person among some folk...I'm not impressed with either candidate so I chose to write in Bernie Sanders and stick to my own moral values. I'm quite happy with myself for that.

She's apparently kind of a fiend for it. Makes me think it'd be hilarious to see her do the one chip challenge. That'd be an interesting thing to see done in an oval office.

Not to mention Trump's intention to sign an anti-LGBT bill that would allow people to discriminate against gay and transgender people based on religious beliefs.

That'd be an interesting thing to see done in an oval office. Maybe that just highlights Clinton's problem, I just assume half of what she says is nonsense. Like her answer in the debate where she said her quote about private vs. public views was talking about Abraham Lincoln. It sounded like pure bullshit. Then it turns out from the leaked emails about her speeches that that was EXACTLY what she was talking about.

I was unfortunately disqualified from the Presidential Race early on in my campaign. Apparently, I caused a bit of controversy when I stated that I would eliminate raisins if elected.
