He had a few smaller hits but he's probably best known for his 1985 single Trapped (which although being very 80s, is still a decent dance track). Earlier in his career he was a member of 94 east, which featured a certain Prince as guitarist. He'd been homeless and in poor health in recent years. RIP Colonel. link

RIP. I'll admit my first exposure to him was after a Mock the Week joke referring to him, but that led me to listening to some of his music, quite enjoyable.

Poor guy. I often wonder what happens to one hit wonders and how their life panned out. Most of the time, the chances are that they fade into obscurity but he seemed to have suffered quite badly.

I'm an 80's R&B kid, so I'm taken bake by this. I was listening to a bunch of his songs a couple of months due to My Little Pony of all things. RIP

HUGE fan of TRAPPED, wonderfully cheesy 80 song, and had that vestage of motown in it, but it was classy all the same and i loved it!
