The last straight up heel v heel match I remember is Big E v Jack Swagger. As u can see that was met with apathy. This is the reason that WWE doesn't do heel vs. heel more than anything. It's not that they CAN'T do heel vs. heel, but at least face/heel is a natural progression, and face/face at least has "It's two people you like in a dream match!" Heel vs. heel, on the other hand, usually tends to be met with apathy and is ratings/buyrate poison, so they just choose not to.

I still want to see a feud based around two heels competing to see who can be the bigger asshole. I want to see them getting increasingly petty and ridiculous as the feud goes on. Cartoonishly evil stuff like trying to run over children with a Steamroller. So, The Vaudvillains vs. The Ascension good for you?

Ahem Ahem 2014 MOTY Wyatts v. The Shield part 1 That falls under the spectacle and tag team possibly breaking up rule that I pointed out earlier. Plus The Shield were getting pretty noticeable babyface pops forcing them to act like Tweeners since January.

One of the biggest reasons I was looking forward to this match was that it was Heels v. Heels. Both teams were kind of being popped by the crowd, and The Shield did turn before WM 30, but to me this is a heel v.heel match, and it delivered in spades. It also may be the best "Bragging Rights" match ever.

AJ vs Suzuki is a prime example of how Heel vs Heel can not only happen, but also make the entire crowd invested.

I too politely disagree and I secretly hope you contunuing politely disagreeing with me so we can always contunue having civil wrestling discussions. I still view it more of a spectacle and passing a torch kind of match. Plus there was the real fear The Shield was going to splitting up soon and it was part of the cracks are beginning to form The Shield. But I do agree the heel vs heel part added more to the spectacle.
