I was just wondering what your opinions were on Matt Hardy's HHH joke from Total Nonstop Deletion. I haven't seen it yet, but I heard his joke and I was dying.

Care to share what the joke was for those of us who didn't watch?

I originally read the title as "Matt Hardy/HHH dies". I didn't know they were both the same guy, nor that they were dead.

I laughed.
Didn't feel like an outright diss to me. Like there was no malice behind it. Just a good ol' HHH burial joke.

Care to share what the joke was for those of us who didn't watch? They hit Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett with shovels, pinned them, and literally buried them, and then the above picture is what Matt said

The goofy thumbs up from Matt and Hurricane afterwards was what made me laugh.

I'm sure HHH would brush it off...not like others haven't buried him before (VKM in TNA) on television and shoots.
But in a serious question, can the WWE go after them for allowing Helms to get dressed up as The Hurricane?

I've heard that Helms owns the rights to the Hurricane costume and etc., but not the name (hence why he was never referred to by anyone as "the Hurricane" during last night).

Unless they used the name, which I don't believe they did, they should be in the clear. I don't think WWE has ownership of a look, just the name. As for the joke, I loved it. It is exactly what I'd expect in something like this and I think Hunter would laugh as well seeing some of the stuff he's done and forgiven.

It would have been more accurate a few years ago, but it was harmless. Tou know smarks and TNA diehards popped huge for it, and considering those two groups don't have much in common these days, it was a huge success.
Just wish the show wasn't doodoo butter.

It's not so much a diss, it was a tongue -and-cheek joke, especially with the silly thumbs up at the end.

Definitely harmless but I hope Matt sees the irony in the diss!

Yeh,they did imply it when Helms said "I know something about natural disasters,Stand back!I'm coming throught!"

I probably would have laughed if it was 03 when those burying jokes was still fresh.

The real WWE diss in that was that they managed to make Hornswoggle funny.
