Just came back from Bob Seger at the Tacoma Dome. The show got rescheduled twice, and at 74 this is his farewell tour.
Solid set of hits I've grown up listening to on the radio, and he even did a Bob Dylan song dedicated to musicians that have been lost over time. Prince, Tom Petty, Glenn Frey...
Ate a nice bowl of roast and potatoes from yesterday. I'm going to be making creamy celery/potato soup for midday. Bacon omelette and croisants for the evening. If somehow still hungry, I can grab some chicken breasts or grapes. Next 24 hours are going to be amazing as I don't have to bug my brains with anything. Probably will just plan what I need to buy next month to complete my newly furnished kitchen and living room!
What do you mean that it takes impurities out of you?
It's like heaven. Try it, you'll be purified: no crap, deadskin, sins or anything.
* Makes you feel extremely fresh, like you lost couple kilos.
If only all it took was charcoal to wash away our sins... I'd even eat that shit.
The last time someone (a housemate with some strange ideas) tried using sage to 'cleanse' me, no matter where we moved to, the wind kept moving directions to blow the sage smoke away from me. We decided there was probably a demon inside me.

My brother and I act two whole fools in the Best Buy Sunday. I felt something crawling on my arm and my brother said it was a wasp. I was giggling and spinning around. My brother went through the contents of my purse twice. At least we didn't get stung. I got my Christmas present early too.
Walked on a nail for second time in last 24 hours. I need to get that broken shelf out of this house immediately. It's been in my hallway for couple days now as I haven't been sure if I needed the woody parts in some of my painting projects, enough is enough.
I can't anymore. The world is becoming too much to handle. The shittiness and stupidity from people, way too many people, in way too many situations where people are way too shitty & stupid than could ever possibly be warranted or necessary, has become impossible to handle. I've run out of ways to deal with it all. So if I disappear one day, you'll know why.

What constitutes being out all day to y'all? I was out for five hours today and I acted like I was out all day. Non sequitur: Don't buy green drink from the dollar tree or anywhere else.
Went to some garage sales with my mother. I was in the garage looking at books, she was down the driveway looking at clothes, when this cat hopped up on the table near me. I started petting it and trying to get Mom's attention 'cause she adores cats, and finally she heard me after a few times of me calling for her, just for this guy browsing to say, "Coming! Did you find me a bra or something?" then the woman running the garage sale realized the cat was there and said, "Oh that's Gary! He likes his stomach rubbed, don't worry, he won't scratch!" then the guy spoke up again, "Oh, there's a cat there, didn't see it!! I thought you were flirting with me!" EVERYONE was ignoring him by this point, I was so confused. At least Gary was cute.

Went to the Aftershock festival yesterday.
Saw Slipknot again last night. It’s crazy, I’ve been going to their concerts for 15 years and their live performances get better and better. Corey’s voice is reverse-aging from when I became a fan in the Volume 3 era/circa 2005. Back when Slipknot would play arena shows. Lol
Sum 41 was also there, and it was probably my favorite live performance ever. They played their greatest hits album and it was a joy. Everyone was so happy to hear their old teen anthems!
The Dropkick Murphys are downright cool. Loved seeing the bagpipes, accordion, and banjo a big part of their music. One of their songs had a dueling banjo and accordion solos.
And a bunch of other bands I was only half into. Really long day. But a fun one!
Also, if you ever want your ego stroked... grow dreads and go to a metal show. So many people stopped me just to tell me how great my hair is.

woke up this morning to an email from my counselor.
At our last session, I had requested that she help me with writing prompts to possibly get me back in my groove and get some things completed and I'd be all warmed up for NaNoWriMo in three weeks.
Instead, it was a question about money.
Nice to know how much she's given a shit about me. If I wanted to feel like a number and a dollar sign, there are thousands of companies that can do that to me with no out-of-pocket expense or special insurance for.
