Just remembered another.
I remember when I was a little kid (about 6 or 7) having the absolute crap scared out of me by the Librarian Ghost in 'Ghostbusters'. The creepy 'SHHHH' was freaky and then the payoff after the 'Get Her' bit had me away from librarys for a while.

The girl coming out of the TV in the original Japanese version of 'The Ring'. Way creepier than the Hollywood version.

I left a voicemail message on a friend's cell phone since I knew that the sound freaked her out. Yeah, I can be not nice sometimes.

the grudge is all around scary.. os scary that when i watched the parody; scary movie 4. the scene where she is driving and the kid's face appears in her window. i jumped.
