They also working on a Nightwing movie -THR Sweet Jesus, it's about time. Piece of advice for those involved - Read Chuck Dixon's Dick Grayson books and just go from there.

At least for now, they've put water on the dumpster fire.

Man, so one of the directors finally got the upper hand on Warners? I won't hold my breath, but it'd be nice if this could be a step in the right direction, maybe even get Affleck feeling better about things.
...Again, not going to hold my breath, but guess we'll see.

They probably realized there wasn't going to be anyone else jumping at the chance to direct this shit if they didn't concede something to the one guy they almost had.
I still want to know how The Batman is going to be released in 2018 when they only just locked in a director, apparently don't have a script done, and the lead actor allegedly doesn't even want to do it.

They just need to do a Batman that people want to see, it really isn't that difficult. Boil Batman down to the most generic mix of BTAS and the Arkham Games, then watch the money roll in.

They also working on a Nightwing movie -THR Great, they're going to f*** up my favorite superhero. Yay. I'm sure Tumblr is already screeching about how they'll boycott this movie if WB doesn't cast a Romani actor. Spoilers, they won't.

Well they got the director for the lego batman movie on tap for it, so it could be good. Also, Joesph-Gordin Levitt as nightwing please

Cast Kit Harrington or Richard Madden, either Stark boy would be a great Dick Grayson.

Marvel Studios hasn't made a bad film yet. At their weakest, you could say they're mediocre. That's why they get leeway. Pretty much. There've been a few Marvel movies I've personally disliked - Thor 2 and Winter Soldier come immediately to mind, and wasn't really big on Age of Ultron - but I can still see why someone would enjoy them. I don't really know why you'd sit down and rewatch Suicide Squad just for the fun of it and I thought it was the best of the three. Honest question, you may be the only person I've ever seen say they didn't like Winter Soldier, is there a reason why you didn't like it?

Mostly I just thought it was really, really boring, and I didn't really care about any of the characters involved, like, at all. There was just nothing I could sink my teeth into.

I assume not liking Winter Soldier is part of why in Civil War I was firmly on Tony's side. Hrm, I didn't really like the First Avenger Captain America movie, I felt like it was slow and all that. I understand it had to take place when it did but it didn't really tickle my fancy. Matter of fact after that one my girlfriend was like...Captain America sucks and is super boring. We went and saw Winter Soldier and it sold us both that Captain America was a badass. Winter Soldier might honestly be my favorite Marvel movie so I guess just different views.

I can see why someone would like it, but the spy thriller political intrigue thing was just a whole lot of nothing for me personally. Granted I don't really like the first Captain America movie very much either. Did like it more than Winter Soldier though.

The Cap trilogy is probably my favorite superhero film series. Winter Soldier is the strongest movie overall IMO, and First Avenger is probably my third favorite but even that's solid at the absolute worst.
With Nolan Batman, I adore the first two, but most of the non-Bane events in Rises I'm kinda "ehhh" on. Like Bruce is barely ever in the suit.

Rises still feels like Nolan was forced to make a final Batman movie and threw shit together. There's a decent plot hidden in there, but it's buried under plot holes, boring action scenes, and clearly over-the-top Bane voices. I mean, come on; that's the voice they went with?

I like Rises a lot - honestly I'd kind of rather watch it than Dark Knight most of the time, though can't really say it's better - but yeah, I do think it could've used another rewrite. Movie has a ton of logical failings to it, one of the most glaring that I noticed in the theater the instant it happened is the question of how in the hell Bruce got back into Gotham.
