There's debate about this with shows like Scrubs, That 70s Show, Lost, & How I Met Your Mother, but I still think nothing beats Roseanne.
Part of the season was fantasy sequences, followed with plots such a Roseanne thwarting terrorists on a train, trying an elaborate plan to sleep with a guy, and the infamous ending where the whole series was a lie.
I still think HIMYM came close, though. The writers were so pro Ted/Robin that they wanted them to be together at the cost of the Mother's life & Barney returning to being a sexusl deviant. Still, they did make that alternate ending.

That 70s show had no place being on TV after Topher Grace left but it's far from the worst.
Lost left me in a meh state. Dexter Omfg I can't rewatch that shit. Smallville was anticlimactic.
Supernatural is going be on that list if they don't find a definitive ending

Roseanne wins, but that's almost unfair. Dexter is also pretty abysmal, with the finale being f***ing hilarious in how ill conceived it was.
Fat Lumberjack ending is probably worse than Lost's and HIMYM's, though Roseanne's book is still dumber.

I don't count Scrubs myself as the last season of Scrubs in my eyes was 8. "The last season" was just a spin-off using the name to try and keep viewers of the original.

Roseanne, not a contest.
HIMYM had a bad series finale that rendered a lot of stuff pointless (like the entire last season)
Roseanne's the entire last season was terrible even before the it was all a dream stuff happened. Take out the finale and the Roseanne season that preceded it was still awful.

Supernatural is going be on that list if they don't find a definitive ending Sam and Dean die and stay dead. Demons couldn't kill them permanently, angels couldn't, Lucifer couldn't, The Darkness can't. What really could kill them at this point and keep them dead?

I thought the last season of The League was some of the most god awful, unfunny shit I've watched.

It's Roseanne and it isn't even a contest.
The last season, and the finale especially, took a giant shit all over what was not only one of the best series of the 90's, but arguably one that was pretty ahead of its time

Dexter.
Roseanne is probably lower on the totem pole, but Dexter fell from a lot higher up.

Dexter. Roseanne is probably lower on the totem pole, but Dexter fell from a lot higher up. Roseanne fell from massive heights. Roseanne was literally the most watched show in the 89-90 seasons stayed in the top 4 for the majority of it's run and always comes up in top 50 lists of greatest shows of all time.

Yeah, it's easy to overlook now, but that show was MASSIVE during its run

I agree with Roseanne, if only for personal reasons. That was one of my favorite shows growing up, because it so accurately reflected lower class struggling families like mine. We could really see ourselves in the show.
