Seinfeld was a weird way to end it but t wrapped things up, I guess. The last three series of Seinfeld were quite poor compared to the series 4-6, but the final episode....talk about bleak!

Here's the thing which is idiotic and makes your head hurt, they clearly have footage of the guy who mugged and robbed a person and it was shown during the trial, revealing who the guy was and what he looked like meaning he could easily be found and arrested in a hour tops and yet they are treated as the villains for not doing anything. Did they not notice the mugger had a weapon?

Oz.
That show started out like gangbusters and fell hard, especially after Season 4.

The 4th season of Dexter is the best series of the whole run, everything after that... not so much
I mean, the next year had Julia Stiles who I've always found to be "meh" as an actress and the last season had Charlotte Rampling who I can't stand for some reason

It's Roseanne and it isn't even a contest. The last season, and the finale especially, took a giant shit all over what was not only one of the best series of the 90's, but arguably one that was pretty ahead of its time Like the show it ripped off,Married with Children,Roseanne became a live action cartoon with that final season. It should have ended with Dan dying at Darlene's wedding.

'Millennium' with Lance Hernriksen. It only lasted two seasons, started off tremendous and fell on its face

That 70s show had no place being on TV after Topher Grace left but it's far from the worst. Lost left me in a meh state. Dexter Omfg I can't rewatch that shit. Smallville was anticlimactic. Supernatural is going be on that list if they don't find a definitive ending Agree with That 70s Show. The only thing that saved the final season was the episodes with Kutcher in them.

Happy Days. By the time it ended, the tone of the show had completely flipped and the cast was 50% new people everyone detested.

Definitely have to say HIMYM. I liked it, but to spend the entire show hinting at the mom, just to kill her and go back to the status quo. Pretty dumb move. Have never seen a show go from beloved to detested so quickly.
As for those not said yet. Battlestar Galactica went f***ing nuts and made no damn sense. But good to know All Along The Watchtower predates cavemen.

Personally, the last season of Night Court was pretty unwatchable. Dan Fielding becomes a saint and Bull is abducted by aliens. You can tell they had all checked out at that point.

I'll see everyone's Roseanne (hey, at least the Ab Fab crossover was there) and raise you THIS: God, I forgot about the Shirley-less last season! I don't even think Michael McKean stuck around for the whole season either. It's so weird, they just upped everyone to Hollywood. TV is so weird.

I don't even think Michael McKean stuck around for the whole season either. It's so weird, they just upped everyone to Hollywood. TV is so weird. Yes....even when I was 6, I knew something was up. This was also when my family coined the "new name" of the show, "Laverne...Where's Shirley?" I believe This is Spinal Tap was filming at the time...which is why Michael McKean was a part timer at best. The move to California was 2 seasons prior, and I didn't hate them with the passion other L&S fans did. But when Cindy Williams left....point of no return time! Family Matters didn't end well either...CBS version.....shudder... Miller-Boyett seemed to have a curse on them for every sitcom they produced to become a caricature of its former self. Between the two above and Happy Days, which someone else mentioned and I agree with. It took me a while to grasp the idea that HD did go until 1984...by then 7 year old me barely noticed. Some of the shows I thought of had an awful final season, but really it was a mercy killing as the latter part of their runs weren't much better. Happy Days, again, comes to mind, as post-Howard/Most lasted 3 more years. Are You Being Served? post-Bannister went on for quite a bit too...it's sad when I can say the best thing about those seasons were when they introduced a new, animated font to the opening credits. '87 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too, especially when you got to the "Gotham Knights" episodes on CBS. (forget right now if only last season or not...)

Battlestar Galactica. 3 times I've tried to watch it and 3 times I've ended up tapping out part way through because it's so utterly boring.

Dexter. Roseanne is probably lower on the totem pole, but Dexter fell from a lot higher up. Roseanne fell from massive heights. Roseanne was literally the most watched show in the 89-90 seasons stayed in the top 4 for the majority of it's run and always comes up in top 50 lists of greatest shows of all time. Wow! Spanning two decades!

I'll throw a vote for the final seasons of Entourage and The Office Yeah Entourage's final season and the movie was pretty bad. But the final season of The Office was pretty good despite the first few episodes being rough. Like it was a lot better then the last few seasons before and it ended on a good note.

Personally, the last season of Night Court was pretty unwatchable. Dan Fielding becomes a saint and Bull is abducted by aliens. You can tell they had all checked out at that point. I consider the checking out point was when they did the Wonderful Life parody. At least we got to see the bachelor party from hell & Harry at the university in the last year. Though, with series finales, it was mostly level, aside from Bull going to Jupiter, compared to stuff like Family Matters's "Urkel In Space" & the HIMYM time skips. As for Seinfeld, I didn't think about the armed robber perspective much, even though it's an obvious flaw. My issues were that it was a clip show that aired after a clip show, & how it was made to treat the maim characters as monsters when the point of the series was how lousy the Seinfeld 4 were in the first place.

Futurama got pretty weak by the end. Not worst season in TV history bad but compared to the original run, it's lame as hell.
If not for its surprisingly decent revival a couple years ago, Red Dwarf would have been a contender.
