I don't count Scrubs myself as the last season of Scrubs in my eyes was 8. "The last season" was just a spin-off using the name to try and keep viewers of the original. Even the creator of the show wanted it to be titled and marketed as a spinoff. The network insisted on keeping the name the same. Even then, it wasn't a bad spinoff. I don't get why so many people hated it.

Has anyone mentioned Roseanne? Jim Varney as royalty. Because that makes sense.

Seinfeld was a weird way to end it but t wrapped things up, I guess.
I've heard a lot of shit about Lost too despite only vaguely watching it. It's hard not to go with Roseanne honestly.

Dexter obviously, Roseanne again and I'll throw True Blood in as well. The show was never a masterpiece or anything but at least the early seasons made sense and were entertaining. That last season was such a grind to get through. And as a side note, I had no issues with Lost, I enjoyed that last season.

Dexter, it will always be Dexter, the show had fallen off since Season 4 but it went to untold depths of horribleness in it's final season.

Dexter is the winner here, but I wanna mention Oz here. Outside of one moment, the ENTIRE final season was trash.

-Babylon 5's fifth season was it's weakest, principly due to JMS having tied up almost all loose ends the year before, so there was a lot of filler before it finally picked up and a cracking final five episodes.
-Airwolf season four. St. John's alive...oh wait, it's Van Dyke's drippy son...since we can't afford ANYTHING because we're in Canada, let's just use stock footage of previous Airwolf battles and try to write stories around that. Hey, let's kill Dominic and Hawke off for good too..oh wait, we can't afford Ernest and only a drugged-up Jan? Use a fat body double for the former and we'll blow him up.
-Lois and Clark. Once the Lord Nor resolution from season three ended, there was just no reason to watch unless you were a Lois and Clark 'shipper, and frankly the early days of their marriage in the comics at the time was much better written.
-Knight Rider's fourth season. Outside of the premiere and "The Scent of Roses", which should have ended it, there's really nothing to this one.

Not mentioned or really the worst but the Teen Titans final season which was easily their weakest.
The show runners were not expecting to be renewed and so they expected the Trigon episodes to be their swansong.
So they kinda hurriedly came up with the "guest star" season to come up with ideas.
Only to have that be their final season instead.

I actually didn't mind the gist of HIMYM's finale.
Barney going back to his old ways and Ted wanting Robin made sense in the history of the show.
I just felt it was poorly executed, particuarly Ted/Robin. It also didn't take into account the fan's feelings for Barney/Robin or the mother.

It was always a guilty pleasure of mine but the last season was too much for me so I quit halfway through. I like to finish what I start even when things get bad in a show but I just couldn't do that with True Blood I liked the final season of lost and I honestly thought the finale was great. I agree with Dexter. A f***ing awful season with an even worse ending. Season 4 should have been the end.

The ending to me is the Wayne Brady episode but they had to put in that BS Lost Season. At least got the Tupac skit out of that
