I've heard a saying here a few times that the English language is constantly evolving, that English speakers (I guess for other languages too) invent and perpetuate words and phrases, occasionally to the level that they become part of the lexicon. Well, I think now 'I could care less' is part of the lexicon. Despite being 'incorrect', too many people use it. I think it might be a part of the English language now.

Depends on where you are. Here in the U.K. you very rarely hear it.

Otherwise things I hate:
"Me and my friend are going to watch wrestling."
"Her and him are going over there."

It works if you're being sarcastic. "I could care less, but only a miniscule amount."

A recent post here had "could of" in the title. No, it's could have or the contraction could've.

"can't wait"
"I can hardly wait for the next Star Wars movie" = You're so excited that you almost can't wait.
"I can't wait for the next Star Wars movie" = Okay, so what are you going to do instead of waiting like the rest of us? Use a time machine?

It's technically "I couldn't care less", but I slip up and say "could care less" constantly. And I'm fine wth that, because it'll probably happen again. I really wish it didn't bother people so much. It's a harmless misuse of a term, not some malicious action. I made a thread about this topic a while back.. And my position is still the same.

Careful with throwing that c word around. We could be invaded by those technicolor bears that shoot lasers from their tummies, along with their technicolor cousins.
Or even worse, Professor Coldheart.
Wait, scratch that. He was kinda awesome.
