For all the money that went into the X-Men movies, there was no excuse for Logan having shitty looking cartoon claws in X-Men Origins. I mean damn, ignore the stupid edits made my the uploader and just look at this CGI. It's like his claws are floating. Then there was the rough copy version of the film that somehow got leaked with incomplete SFX, which just made things look quite hilarious.

I thought the effects in the opening action sequence of Civil War were pretty bad. Rubber man all over the place and no art style to cover up for it like some of the DC movies.

Since we are talking whole movie and not some scenes I pick Gods of Egypt. All that f***ing money spent on what? That was a green screen horror.

Jabba in Star Wars: Special Edition, especially the bit where Han steps on his tail. Can't remember if it was for the DVD release or Blu-Ray where they redid Jabba and he looks better then the 97 Special Edition, and much more believable that he would become the Jabba from Jedi. And the stepping on the tail thing causes a much less Looney Tunes reaction. Still not perfect, but a big improvement over the 97 effects

ID4 Resurgence had modern looking CGI, but it was directed so badly that a lot of the action felt really artificial.

The first Sin City looked really good. Maybe becaase I didn't know for a long while how it was filmed (basically everything - EVERYTHING - was green screen), now I'm too afraid to watch it with this newer knowledge.
So the second Sin City, which I saw not very long ago........BLEH. Fake fake fake as shit.
I don't......recall what I thought of THE SPIRIT. I thought the story was just ridiculous so that took me out of the movie almost completely, I think.

I love how in the youtube freeze clip there you can see Jackman's beard through the claws.

Looking back on it, "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith" both have some pretty terrible CGI considering the multi-million dollar budgets they were working with and the lineage of "Star Wars" history that preceded them. In particular, I remember large portions of "Attack of the Clones" looking like it was filmed inside of a PlayStation 2 game.

To add to some of those already mentioned, I'd like to throw out another movie....VAN HELSING. Terrible CGI. I think the overall theme of this thread is that someone needs to take the computers away from Stephen Sommers (Mummy Returns, Van Helsing, GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra). He clearly doesn't know the difference between Good computer effects and Bad computer effects, and loves to load his movies up with CGI, even when none is needed.
