I do not, I repeat, Do NOT feel sorry for Atlanta. Matt Ryan deserves to be bawling his eyes out. They are the greatest chokers of all time. The Falcons should just quit with foootball. They will never recover from this for the rest of my life. Seriously, if I am an Atlanta Falcons fan, just find another team to root for. This is the point of no return. They can kick rocks forever.

The Falcons are figuratively dead to me forever.
You had ONE job and you couldn't do it.
Thanks. For. Nothing.

I put this on Ryan. Dude doesn't take that sack, they kick a field goal, Pats are still down by three instead of tying. Just a stupid play. Oh that was really stupid of him. Terrible time for a brain fart. That said, the play calling was trash down the stretch. That's all coaching

Look at the Falcon player during the OT coin toss. You could see in his eyes that his soul had left his body.
The Patriots immediately thought "yep, we got these bitches now"

Random bullshit thought: If the Falcons just took a knee on every snap (then punted on 4th down obviously) in the 4th quarter I wonder if they would have burned enough time to win.
I haven't looked at the breakdown but it sure felt like the Falcon's had the ball for all of about 90 seconds in the 4th.

Someone stole Brady's game jersey and state officials have asked the Texas Rangers (LEO unit, not MLB) to investigate because of how important hospitality and football are to the state. It is like having the FBI look for it.

To be honest, I had to check my phone when I woke up this morning because I wasn't entirely sure what happened in Super Bowl LI actually happened.
That was the most improbable comeback that I can ever recall. I left them for dead following the pick-six to make it 21-0 and I all but checked out when it was 28-3. I've seen it bandied about on social media today, but I don't think it makes you a bad fan if you lost hope. Tom Brady's the greatest quarterback ever and Bill Belichick's the greatest coach ever, but to overcome a 25-point deficit in about 18 minutes of game time? It's OK to say that's asking a lot.
But they did it.
I know there's a lot of people who are upset with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman penning Brady's hagiography during the game, but let's not kid ourselves, that game was all about him and his legacy. It was about cementing his status as the greatest quarterback of all-time and putting him in a stratosphere that no other NFL player has ever reached. Not only did he have that on his shoulders coming into the game, it was on his right arm to bail them out of a 25-point hole and he did it by piecing together a monumental performance in the second half.
I truly wish fans of other franchises could experience this feeling that I've been lucky enough to feel now five times. But at the same time, I don't wish that, because that would mean that the Patriots aren't hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. I'm greedy for championships and that thirst is unquenchable. I cannot wait for all of the hallmarks that come along with a Super Bowl victory - buying the hat and t-shirt, picking up the DVD, the ring ceremony, the banner unveiling - and it's just another sign of a dominant run that we've never seen before and may never see again.

It is like having the FBI look for it. To be fair, the value on that jersey is probably bonkers. Just replace the word "jersey" with something like diamonds or gold bars and it seems a lot more "normal"

I'm not even excited about next season honestly.
Why should I care about which 30 NFL teams are fighting for the right to be AFC runners up and NFL runners up to the Patriots?
And I'm not saying this to get hot clicks or troll.
I really mean it when I say this:
I feel that it's almost not worth putting myself through 4 months of seeing who will come up second best to Brady/Belichick.
I feel like I've been worn down by the Patriots dynasty to the point where I can't even get excited about anyone else going forward.
Seriously, why should I care about being a fan of a team not named the New England Patriots? To prematurely get my hopes up only to get smacked by 20+ points twice a year as usual by His Bradyness?
Until Brady/Belichick retire, I'm not going to fervently root on the NFL as passionately as I once did

Theres a lot of salty football fans hating on Tom and the Patriots. That game was magnificent last night. That comeback was historical. The Falcons shit the bed hard because they were not focused. They are a young team and it was a rookie move to get over excited before the game was done. They were calling Ryan the next Brady, well Brady gave him some tough love last night. Showed him whos boss. I couldnt be more happy about that win, and have been rubbing it in peoples faces all day. You cant say nothing about Tom now. Nothing. Hes the greatest of all time and the salty tears around the world are the sweetest.

Like you could tell that it would be a game by the end and you the collapse was going to happen when it was all said and done, and it would be catastrophic when it happened. And I've seen people call it the greatest Super Bowl of all time. That's so untrue it's not even funny. Hell, it's not even the greatest Super Bowl that Pats were in, nor is it the 2nd greatest. Me personally, a game is not great when neither team played good at the same time to make the game compelling.

Me personally, a game is not great when neither team played good at the same time to make the game compelling. Yeah. Paradoxically, you could really just call it the crappiest last drive Super Bowl of all time. One of crappiest double-digit comebacks in playoff history. The crappiest two halves of football in Super Bowl history (Pats 1st half and Falcons 2nd half). To me, I can't call anything great where two teams were as terrible as those were in two halves trading sides on who would be awful in what half. Patriots have the trophy. Claim the crown as dynasty and greatest QB if you want. No problem. But I wouldn't call it a win so much as a loss of a Sunday night and full season for anyone who watched.

So whoever stole it has a dilemma.
