Wearing short sleeved shirts over long sleeved ones. Also, popped collars.Truly, a trash decade style-wise. One of the great tragedies of our generation. She was obscenely hot at one point, and now.....ugh. I recently discovered a photo of me from maybe 2002-2003 in my very early 20s and I am wearing not one, but TWO Lacoste polos with the collars popped. I had no recollection of this, but surely, that was the darkest moment of my existence.

Scrubs. Was edgy, funny and endearing at the time. Now it like,"Eh? What dude? Mrs. Cox is still hot though"

Scrubs. Was edgy, funny and endearing at the time. Now it like,"Eh? What dude? Mrs. Cox is still hot though" I can still watch it, but certain characters have lost their appeal while others have grown on me. That, and I doubt that Carla will ever not be hot as hell in my book. I do regret that the last season was not allowed to be a spin-off like the show-runners wanted it to be. Sure, it might have failed on its own merits but I imagine that lower ad rates that would have gone with being a spin-off would have been enticing enough to advertisers to keep it afloat. I actually wanted more of Drew, Mahoney, and Cole (Lucy, a.k.a., JD-with-boobs, was alright in smaller doses).

I watched Scary Movie for the first time in years recently, man does that feel like a film from 2000. It doesn't help that the characters are mostly just one joke (like the entire joke with Ray that is he gay) I feel this way about American Pie and all the late 90s/early 00s teen comedy genre. So cringey now. Yeah, I just watched the American Pie 2 a couple weeks ago, and I can tell you that it's extremely dated.

More like mediocre Green Day. Since you put it that way, I have to say "whiny rock" has aged badly. I mean bands like Blink 182, Sum 41, Bowling For Soup, Good Charlotte, All-American Rejects, Dashboard Confessional, Panic At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, etc. Granted, some of those bands are still around, but not as a relevant as they were earlier this past decade.

I actually find American Pie 2 to be kinda funny and a quasi-perfect time-capsule style movie that was made for that age and than period only. All the other American Pies are just bad though.

I never found nu-metal to be anti-feminist at all. that seems super off-base and alarmist. it was just something that angry kids latched onto before they found a better outlet. I was one of them. mind, as soon as I discovered heavier and more artistically legitimate forms of angst I drifted away from it but when you're a kid dealing with changes it helps to have an outlet for your anger, even if it does seem babyish in retrospect.

I just watched the first Fast and the Furious film on Netflix. Wow, that has NOT aged well, taking the series on a more over the top direction really helped those films.

And many people long for the series to be back to its roots. I still find the movie to be enjoyable, but when looking at the films from the fourth one to the latest one, it feels different.

Word to all singers, do not put the year of the song in the title, it dates it almost immediately

Word to all singers, do not put the year of the song in the title, it dates it almost immediately Frankly, you used a bad example. If you take the date out, you still have a generally non offensive apology/begging song. If you want to talk about songs being dated, let's talk about No More by 3LW. You promised me Kate Spade, but that was last year boy, in the eighth grade.
