As the title says, just random stuff that you encounter day to day that just seems so last decade. Doesn't matter what. For me, any time I see architecture very heavy on stainless steel and big sweepy spaces, even like just as bus stop canopies, it screams mid-2000s. Like, when the Washington Metro unveiled their 'station of the future' concept, it somehow to me seems more dated than the 1970s concrete and brown it'd ostensibly be replacing, which IMO has kind of looped around to being unique again. A lot of it is also that steel needs cleaned and polished to keep looking well, and a lot of the infrastructure in place has been around long enough to show its age now. Outside of architecture, any holdouts still on the road from the overly huge SUV era, such as the occasional Ford Excursion or Hummer, also stick out like sore thumbs.

God yes. The "afterwash" that came after your bands like Korn/Limp Bizkit/etc. were so bad and it's amazing they ever landed a record contract. Even Korn's halfway decent albums came out prior to 2000.

I watched Scary Movie for the first time in years recently, man does that feel like a film from 2000. It doesn't help that the characters are mostly just one joke (like the entire joke with Ray that is he gay)

Yes. I say this as a huge Linkin Park fan. I was kinda sad when i realized I'd grown out of listening to them.

Nu-metal has to be the top one. I can't even listen to that stuff for nostalgia. It's just awful.

The "adult" cartoons from the era. Some still hold up like Venture Brothers and early Aqua Teen, but a lot of them (Stroker and Hoop, Gary the Rat, later ATHF, even early American Dad) are cringeworthy now.

Scooters. Whenever I see them nowadays, I roll my eyes over how dorky they look.

A lot of the Superhero movies of the early 2000s before Spider-man where they were all ashamed of being comic book movies.
also "some of hte stuff from the 2000's that already aged badly" would be like in 1997 talking about how things from 1980 already aged badly...

Early reality shows. Survivor was groundbreaking television when it aired in 2000, but a lot of the shows which followed in it's footsteps were ropey at best.
Does anybody really look back fondly at The Littlest Groom or Who's Your Daddy?

It doesn't help that the characters are mostly just one joke (like the entire joke with Ray that is he gay) I feel this way about American Pie and all the late 90s/early 00s teen comedy genre. So cringey now.
