Well this is shocking. I was always a big NPH fan.
....does this mean I'm gay too? I better write my diary.

Being gay, that's cool. As long as he's on a great sitcom currently, and still not directiing porn, I'm all for whatever choices he makes.

Wait, hold on. When was there ever "interest or speculation" in his personal life? Seriously. Beyond the appearance in Harold and Kuumar Go To White Castle wherein he gets stoned, sniffs a stripper's ass and humps a car seat, then steals said car, I hadn't heard about him in years.

You mean beyond him co-starring in one of the few successful sitcoms on tv right now?

Maybe the 'interest or speculation' came from his family and friends? And he just let it out for everyone in the public to know about.

Between the Grey's Anatomy guy and Doogie, a lot of TV stars are being outed lately. Didn't he play a closeted "ex-gay" on Will & Grace for one episode?

I think its sad that someone saying hes gay is still news somehow I dont give a hug if your gay or not kanyon, your a crapty wrestler NPH, your funny as hell, snorting coke of womans (well...) ass is gold (LOVE STAINS!) See, that's kinda where I was going. He's a good actor, but I don't think I ever looked at him and went "dude, I wonder if he's gay". Usually it was just me marking out when I happened to catch an appearance on TV or a movie, because it was freaking Doogie Howser. So he's gay? Ok. Wondering why this made news is all. Will we next get a story broken that, I don't know, Paulie Shore came out and announced he's straight?

I don't watch it unless I got nothing better to do, but whatever.

So he's gay? Ok. Wondering why this made news is all. Because we live in a celebrity-obsessed society where many people seem more concerned about the goings-on of even the most obscure famous people than they are their own lives. That's why magazines like People, Us and the like thrive, as do all the Entertainment Tonight/Extra/Access Hollywood style shows. Why TMZ.com and smokinggun.com have become such huge internet hits. Why a day can't go by without someone mentioning Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton or Mel Gibson.

The last few years, with the revolving door of sitcoms, I just don't care, because none of them ever last more than a few seasons.

Enough to hold my interest for thirty minutes at least. Doogie is actually quite funny on the show.

I KNEW IT! Just watch any old episode of Doogie Howser. The dude is getting all this tail just jumping at him, and the whole time he's trying to shrug them off and be all "respectful." He should've just told them, "Sorry, but I love dong and ass. Let's just be friends." Of course, I guess it would've cut the show short by a few seasons, but it would've explained a lot of questions I had about Doogie years ago.

Not that I'm homophobic or anything, but it looks to me that almost every actor who's ever played the role of Mark in the musical, Rent, turns out to be gay, or is already so before they start.
