Baron Von Rashcke managed the Powers of Pain in the WWF VERY briefly, He couldn't have stayed a couple months. Any word why his run was so short?
Buddy Roberts returned to hook up with the Freebirds, minus Terry Gordy for a few weeks in WCW, but suddenly disappeared
Who are some others and what went wrong?

All of Max Mini's appearances were short, indeed.

John Nord (Berzerker) appeared on Nitro maybe twice in early 98 and disappeared off the face of the earth
Phantasio's one single match in WWF in 94 or 95, had his own wrestlecrap induction. Dude was a midlevel star in Memphis
Terry Gordy as The Executioner in late 96 WWF
Vade Hansen...or was it Hade Vansen?

Krissy Vaine beat up Torrie Wilson, then vanished (quit) 2 weeks later. I actually saw her wrestle Michelle McCool at a house show in that time.

John Nord (Berzerker) appeared on Nitro maybe twice in early 98 and disappeared off the face of the earth. He was actually with the company for a year or a little more. He was on Saturday Night and a couple other b-shows pretty consistently. I remember him because his look was drastically different than the last I had seen him as the Berzerker. He had shaved the beard, bleached his hair, and wore sunglasses to the ring. He still wore big, furry boots though, which always struck me as odd with the rest of the look. He also teamed at least semi-regularly with Barry Darsow for awhile.

Great Sasuke had two matches in the WWF in July 97 and was never seen there again.

Great Sasuke had two matches in the WWF in July 97 and was never seen there again. What makes this funny to me is it seemed as if he had the same match against the same guy (TAKA).

It did seem that way. We got it on PPV and then on Raw. You would think Taka would have won one of those matches but he lost them both. That was Taka's first weekend in too.

WWF was trying their hand at bringing in the foreign talents and lightweight guys, like WCW had been but they never really put the effort into it like WCW. It was usually one or two guys to face either Taka or Brian Christopher. Eventually Taka went with Kaientia and Brian went with Too Much and the lightweight talents had pretty much disappeared. I'm guessing Esse Rios was under contract and they also needed some Gillberg for comedy.

Rick Martel was in WCW for like 6-7 weeks in 1998, but managed to cram in a whole bunch of good matches. It's a shame he got hurt because he was finding his groove as a no nonsense midcard babyface. It might be my favorite run of his career.

Malia Hosaka in WWF - she was supposed to be a nameless face in the crowd, but everyone recognized her from WCW so it failed completely.
Ronnie P. Gossett in WWF - showed up in one single Jeff Jarrett vignette as his manager.
David Sammartino in WCW - jobbed to Dean Malenko on Nitro one time and disappeared.

Vic Grimes had a match in WWF, want to say it was a six man, as "Key". He slipped and fell on his face and was never seen again.

Curtis Hughes has been with the WWF three times. The first stint was the longest, lasting a couple of months. He then appeared again in 1997 and 99 (I think) but they were both very brief stays.

Headhunters appeared on an episode of superstars post match beat down the headbangers and left. They also appeared at the 1996 Royal Rumble as "The Squat Team" and both faced off against Yokozuna and Vader. Great Sasuke had two matches in the WWF in July 97 and was never seen there again. According to his Wiki page, Sasuke bragged to the press in Japan that he would only defend the WWF Light Heavyweight title in Japan and refuse to drop it in the US... so the WWF hired Taka in his place. Other additions... how many matches did Konnan have in the WWF as Max Moon?
