If there was no hair metal, I would appreciate the 80's more.

The only thing good about the 80's was baseball and football. Oh and Ani, approve of that sig, a great series of videos from the SNES nerd.

Did anyone watch Totally Awesome on VH1 tonight? I wanted to but I'm at work. I'm sure it'll be on many more times with the next day, so I'll catch it then.

Actually, he's the NES nerd (he doesn't do Super Nintendo games...) If only I had good video equipment (and that damn cord missing from my SNES), I could be the SNES equivelent of him.

My mistake, it must be the Jack Daniels typing.

I never understood the 80s nostalgia...and I really hate when people my age (21) say they were children of the 80s...we were only 4/5 in 89-90...babies of the 80s.
The 90s had so much more:
- Video Games - Beavis and Butthead - Awesome Comedies (Dumb and Dumber, So I Married An Axe Murderer) - Random Jim Henson tv shows that barely lasted a season (Muppets Tonight, Jim Henson Hour, Ghost of Faffner Hall) - Comic book series
Eff the 80s.

I go ESPN classic for which sports decade was better. The 1980's was a good sport's decade. The World Series from that decade had some great matchups and the 'niners dynasty sprinkled in with some Bears' and Giants' dominance is always a fun watch.

The 80's were my childhood.
Are you implying that my childhood sucked?

as much as i love the 80's (video nasties, Birth of MST3K) it DID suck in the fashion department.
Plus they had Yuppies
