He needs a different theme though really, decent song but an absolute crowd killer.

Eh, if the man is able to find a nu metal band in 21st century, the man is entitled to use their music as his theme.

Drew McIntyre is an awful name honestly. What elimination chamber match was he in? I can't remember that one.
Also is that really NOT Seth Rogan in the picture? I legit thought it was.

WWE has been in serious 1984 mode when it comes to the UK. The ITV/WOS situation has really fired-up WWE.

Ok Drew this is your chance Last time the bullshit with Tiffany and family problems derailed his push. This guy was introduced by Vince as the future. He was supposed to work a wm match with Undertaker. This is his last shot to reach his full potential. last chance? I mean dude is 31, he might hit his stride at 38 only? Look how old Joe, Balor, Styles are and where they are now I may be mistaken but I don't know of any wrestler who has been world champion after being fired twice.

But would the Full Sail crowd sing along to the tune? The crowd choir is half of the magic.

Well, we don't have to wait to know what WWE is doing. They moved-up their UK tournament way before they originally meant to, signing as many UK wrestlers as they could where they could essentially control which groups they work for. They weren't ready to start regular UK-programming or touring, but they wanted to go ahead and sign-up wrestlers and ice them out of ITV and to a lesser degree What Culture. Drew Galloway was one of the key people for What Culture, and he could easily have been one of the franchise stars of the ITV/WOS had WWE not signed him. I'm not criticizing WWE at all, and I'm happy for Drew Galloway. I'm just simply calling what I see. It's clear that the ITV deal has caused WWE to jump start their UK plans, even before they were really ready to go with it.

He is the blueprint of how you leave WWE and make yourself 2x better than what you were. Agreed. Glad to see he's didn't "Damien Sandow" his career. And that right there is the case study of how to handle a release vs how not to. One seemingly completely stops giving a shit, and at least character wise solely blames the people that let him go and does nothing to improve. The other says "I'll show you."; and then busts his ass to improve in every facet, making himself more valuable to any company he may go to in the future. It's almost a case study in how to handle any firing one may encounter.

I think another major difference between Drew and Sandow is that Drew had several years of indy work under his belt, wrestling guys as varied as the Honkytonk man and Go Shiozaki so had considerably more experience than Sandow did before he joined WWE developmentalm. Sandow got signed after a year in the indies then spent year after year in the WWE system, at a time they were training everyone to work the same match, even during the period he was fired he stuck around OVW and didn't broaden his horizons much before returning to developmental FCW, where again, everyone was trained to work the same match in the WWE style so he came out the other side with the same issues as Marc Mero when he hit the WWF, only really knowing how to play Johnny B Badd.
Not saying he's blameless, he absolutely should have tried to get more experience during the time he was released, but he's one of many people let down by WWE developmental. It's kind of telling that they had hundreds, if not thousands of rookies and very few went on to make it on the main roster or the indy scene.

I hope he uses the Drake Hunt version of Broken Dreams. Not as good a song but it sounds a lot more main event. Yea that version would not be bad. They should of gave Dolph his unused theme as well when he was a babyface

If we get this Drew in WWE then I'm happy Trainspotting Drew McIntyre? I can dig that. Been down with Galloway for over 10 years, since he was the 20 year old kid tearing it up with Sheamus in Irish Whip Wrestling. So, so glad that he's finally built up a Stateside fanbase and is getting a chance to be the star he can be.
