Sad end but Taker hasn't had a good match at Ma ha in at least four years.

Can't expect much at this age from him. I just hope he was able to pick his final opponent. If it happen to be Roman oh well I can respect his decision.

To be fair to Roman, 'Taker should have been done about 5 years ago. This match sucking isn't surprising, but it's probably on both guys.

To be fair, Taker hasn't had a good WrestleMania match since 29.

The amazing thing is that he still looked better than Roman in that match.

My favorite wrestler ever being retired by my least favorite guy on the roster, and the match sucked. Feels bad.

He just looked so...broken down. I'm relieved this is the end for him.

I liked it. The tombstone snafu borked the pacing a bit, but it was a little bit Flair/HBK call-back mixed with a little "gunfighter's last draw" kinda thing that made it really watchable.

He probably should've retired with The Streak ending at WM30, honestly. But I felt like he held his own for the first half, then it was a mixed bag of Reigns vs father time claiming Undertaker. I'm glad he went out in the main event. A human moment from The Undertaker, kissing his wife, putting all his entrance gear in the ring...it was a nice way to exit.

It was awful, even if Taker hasn't had a good match in years.

His WWE career literally is as old as me, I grew up watching him, and he's one of my top five of all time... but that was shit. What a shit way to go out, in a mediocre Roman Reigns match.

I mean now when you look back on the past 3 yeears, there's no reason why 30 shouldn't have been Undertaker's sendoff.

I mean, was anyone really expecting the match to be good? After seeing 'Taker in the Rumble? I'm a huge mark for the guy, and even I had to admit that he just couldn't go anymore. The crowd being quiet/WWE muting them (I don't know which was it) didn't help and the build didn't really emphasize the whole "this is 'Taker's last match" aspect to play up the emotion of it, so it didn't have the drama of Flair or Shawn's final matches. As far as I'm concerned, the only reason to have watched it in the first place was to say that you saw The Undertaker's final match.

He held on way too long. I felt he shoulda called it a career after Brock espc when they followed that up with that pointless Bray match. Perhaps that was the time to "pass the torch".
I blame Vince for tonight. I legit get his love and devotion to Taker the person. I respect that. But Reigns was a bad opponent. Taker needed a stronger and more capable opponent who could've helped craft a match to better hide his real shortcomings. I don't even blame Vince with animosity. He just made a bad choice. And its not Reigns' fault either. Cena was the way to go or a guy who Taker could've got a win over.
This was a very sad end to arguably the greatest character in the business' entire history.

That match was some sad shit. Like every "down on his luck retired fighter coming back for one last go in the ring" movie rolled up into one except at the end the guy gets peed on. At least they made the actual retirement walk a solemn moment of genuine emotion--I didn't think WWE was capable of that anymore--but f*** was everything up to that point dire.

You'll notice because you couldn't even hear a peep from them from the time of the pinfall, to when the camera went back on Taker.
