This is not even about bad songs or songs you even dislike, but they are so bleeping overplayed you want to plug your ears when you hear them.
Mine is "Back in Black" by AC/DC. I mean, this must be the most overplayed song in history
And "Hey Ya' by Outkast. When that song was out, it was like there were no other songs that could legally be played.

Pretty much anything by Adele or Ed Sheeran
Overplayed to buggery (& they're Shit) on the Radio and where I work they ALWAYS have the stations on that play them non stop.
And I can't wear headphones

I'll second Hey Ya by Outkast.
Every time I listen to a music channel, there it is. Waiting for me.

THIS IS GONNA BE THE BEST DAY OF MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE Yes that one and I also can totally be happy if I never have to hear Rude by Magic ever again. (Seriously I love my country, but we have this terrible habit of making Reggae music corny and uncool.)

I'm fortunate in that I'm not exposed to songs that I don't want to hear very much-however there are a few that I hate with a passion from the start
What is love? Anything by the Pet Shop Boys Life in a Northern Town Who Let The Dogs Out? Big Mountain's cover of Baby I Love Your Way

I could happily go the rest of my life without ever hearing Blurred lines again.
I hate that song.
Another one is that Dancing on my own song.. why the f*** is a bloke singing that song?, sounded better when Robin sang it.

This one's gonna be unpopular given recent events, but if I ever turn on an "alternative" radio station, I know it's just a matter of waiting until I hear "Black Hole Sun", and I am so f***ing sick of that song.

Don't Stop Believing. Everywhere esp. in the NJ/NY area because of the Sopranos finale. Plus it reminds me of Glee, another -20 points!

Jar of Hearts, and that other song Christina Perri has out All of Me, by John Legend. Was never a big fan of it, anyway, but it got overplayed to hell. Someone Like You, by Adele. Also overplayed to hell

Any of the MOR stuff on the USB in my girlfriend's car - particularly Ed Sheeran. Nothing against him, but they all sound the same.
'Ruby' by the Kaiser Chiefs - it turns up everywhere.
'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves - as soon as there's a hint of sun in the UK it comes on the radio (plus it's ****ing dreadful).

Any big time musician(s) that onky have a few songs played at all times.
Especially if they have a huge catalog of stuff to be played. A lot of it better than what is actually played.

A large portion of classic 80s pop. My last job had the same 80s radio station playing over the speakers every single day for the whole two years that I was there. If I hadn't already known better, I would have thought that the entire decade had only produced about 30 songs.
