RAW arrives at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a show I will likely miss all of thanks to work (F***!!!!). And as the thread title implies, the Monster Among Men is back. Braun Strowman spoiled Roman Reigns' evening last week when he returned from a surprisingly short injury leave to cost the Big Dog his match against #1 Contender Samoa Joe. Sure enough, Braun said THE WORDS and beat Roman up again. With an Ambulance Match looming at the WWE Why Would You Call It Something Like This? I Mean, Seriously? event, Reigns will certainly looking to both regain lost ground and get revenge, while Braun will likely find another way to NOT BE FINISHED WITH HIM!
Speaking of Samoa Joe, he made it clear to Reigns that he is not "just Joe" by making him a victim of the Coquina Clutch and remaining unbeaten by the former World Heavyweight Champion (not counting house shows, of course). It's another message to the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, but BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK himself will be in the City of Angels, and it's more than likely he will have his own (physical) message for the Destroyer.
Last week saw it become Splitsville as Big Cass finally was revealed as the man who kept ambushing his now former partner Enzo Amore. Sealing the deal with a boot, Big Cass looks to shed the embarrassment of being Enzo's backup, but will Enzo have any plans for payback? And is Big Show hopping brands after getting pissed off by GM Kurt Angle?
The RAW Women's Division is a mess, but a mess that Alexa Bliss is sitting on top of. Only problem is that her perch is much less stable, with everyone gunning for her. And that includes Bayley, who seems to have finally realized that violence may indeed be the answer. How will the contender race shake up en route to the WWE Still Refusing To Use The Real Name event?
The Miz/Maryse relationship gets worse even as Miz has found a way to get the upper hand on edgestar's beloved Dean Ambrose. The Intercontinental Champion got Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel into the ever-present bear suits (AND INTO SOME RARE BROADCAST TIME ON RAW!) and ready to ambush Ambrose. What else does Miz have planned for the former World Heavyweight Champion?
Speaking of beloveds, Shai's Seth Rollins remains unfazed by Bray Wyatt's rantings. And last week, it was WYATT who got caught by a surprise attack. One has to assume that Wyatt is not about to let Rollins go unpunished, however....
All this, plus 205 Live rematches that may or may not mean anything, terrible Hollywood jokes, and the hope for SAY YEAH!, on USA Network, 8 in the east, 7 in the central!
