How are you with that? Do you aim for 100% completion, or do you just stick to the storyline and follow until the ending?
For me, I generally don't aim for 100%, though I do try to get everything for the best ending (if such a thing is applicable). If there's post-game content I'll go and try to do that too. With multiple ending games, I might try to go and see all the endings, if it's relatively easy to do so, but in general I often regret playing just to see the bad and worse endings. Don't really want to go 100% complete the game if all you get is some sort of cosmetic award or achievement.

I just go to complete the story and, any side quests which are fun.
I don't bother about collectables, unless they add to the game. I tried to find all the recordings in Bioshock for example because it enhances vthe world and makes the game better.

Depends on how much I enjoyed the game. If the game is damn awesome, I will generally extend my time with the game by doing more of the sidequests. If it was just a decent game, I'm probably done with it.

I try to play as much as I can first time so i'll do whatever sidequest and shit is available because as i've gotten older I won't play a game again immediately after beating it.
Hell, sometimes it takes me 3-6 months just to finish a game now because I don't rush through it (Did that with Uncharted 4). I don't really play for trophies because I don't have the time nor the patience to chase tedious shit.

I tend to complete the main missions pretty quick, then do all the side missions that don't involving flying through hoops or other irritating shit. If it's an open world game like GTA, Red Dead, Far Cry, Skyrim etc...I'll keep playing them forever just to relax.

I play as much as I can but I avoid the Collectathon aspects because I find them annoying.

I can sense the satisfaction involved in getting 100%, but I get just as much satisfaction from completing the main storyline. I'll do side missions and bonus games, but I'm not busting a gut to go for 100% - it just seems like too much time and effort for no reason other than ego.

When playing the GTA games, I have decided on getting 100 percent, but rather than just do the story first, I would rather do everything before completing the story.

I tend to just stick to the story and the side missions. The only games that I've gone on and found all the collectibles in are Arkham City and the Tomb Raider reboot, and neither felt worth it. When playing the GTA games, I have decided on getting 100 percent, but rather than just do the story first, I would rather do everything before completing the story. If a game allows it I always try to do the available side missions before I do the story missions.

depends on the game
Stuff like Ubisoft open world games I mainly do Story & Some side missions and that's it as most of the stuff in those games are pointless busy work.

I definitely try to 100 most games, but if something is too difficult or frustrating I'll usually bail
In Mass Effect 2 I had every trophy except for the hardest difficulty one. I was stuck on a sidequest where you had to save a guy from some of the alien wolf things, but on the hardest difficulty they kill him almost immediately. It was an optional mission so I could have gotten the trophy without it, but I didn't have a save from before I started the quest. I ended up just giving up on that one.
Currently I'm playing Zelda BOTW, and I need 2 more shrines. Those I'll get, but I don't think I'll be able to find the SEVEN HUNDRED GODDAMN KOROKS I have left to find.

Normally I go for the main story and if I really like it I go for the side quests.
I don't normally go for all the achievements in games.

Generally, once the story is done, I am too.
If side quests have story elements like Arkham games, I'll do those. Though the Riddler stuff in each game I'm unlikely to ever complete. If it was just puzzles etc I'd like that; but not huntin all those trophies.

Depends if it's feasible and if I still want to play the game more after beating the game.
