I actually liked the transitions mostly, but yeah the movie is boring as hell.

on first showings, i thought the CGI was slightly slow in it's speed, but recently watched it again due to me starting the see all the marvel movies of recent times and thought it was actually fine
sure it was out there sometimes but it was pretty good

I feel like I'm the only one who preferred this one over the 2008 one.

I feel like I'm the only one who preferred this one over the 2008 one. Are you my coworker Brendan? If not, you're one of two. Count me 1 of 3. In fact, I got slack from my friends for the CGI transformation scenes, especially after League of Extrodenary Gentlemen came out. I liked the film for the direction Ang Lee took it; ie unlike the typical "comic book adaptation" schlock.

This is the only movie that I ever fell asleep during in the theater. I woke up and purposely went back to sleep. It was that bad. Same thing happened again when I tried to watch it on cable. I just can't get into it.

It was good but had a baffling climax
Also, I seem to recall a few goofy errors in editing, with sight lines and the directions people were facing. I don't think I've re-watched it since the year it came out though.
Brokeback Mountain had like 3 or 4 boom mics visible during the movie as well
Ang Lee is great, but I don't know why that kind of thing happens in his movies.

One of Doug's better reviews. This one reminded me of his older stuff.

One of Doug's better reviews. This one reminded me of his older stuff. Its what happens when you stick to your bread and butter (analyzing the film itself) and not do a million random skits with your friends.

Hulk sucked ass. Some things he was trying to do were interesting, but ultimately fell pretty flat. Good review here.
Incredible Hulk wasn't spectacular either, but it was better. I sorta feel like if you could combine the good parts of each of the movies, you'd have a really good movie.

Incredible Hulk is on tv, and in rewatching it, I'll still put Hulk over it. Which is a shame, as there are some really good potential stories Incredible Hulk could have done.
There has always been animosity, resentment between Banner and Hulk, at least in the MCU. Abomination could have constantly outsmarted Hulk, and Hulk has to finally reconcile between the man and his intelligence, and the monster and his brawn.
But Edward Norton and Liv Tyler would have still ruined it...
