Ah, the end of that trailer. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}That's how Rick eventually looks in the comics, and he walks with a cane. Wonder if there will be flash forwards to the period after the war. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} My exact thoughts, A preview of the end of the season maybe? I think it will be a cold open, much like they did with Breaking Bad Season 5 with Walt and the flash forward.

I hope they don't flash back and forward. I think it would be cool, but I watch the show with my mom, and she'll get confused by it and keep asking me questions during the entire episode about whether we're in the present or future.

A theory I saw but didn't think about for "Old man Rick" {Spoiler}{Spoiler} A theory I saw was the fact they may use it as a dream sequence saying Rick never left the hospital after he got shot first episode and all the Zombies and shit was in his head.
Of course this would be a fake out because we will see this same sequence at the end of the war

At the least it could be one of those things where they slowly show parts of the sequence until the we get the full thing played at once

A sneak peak into Negan's origin. Looks like they definitely strayed from the comic version.

Negan is popular in the comics so I wonder if they go that route for the TV show

Also yea it's insane how much Negan from the TV show and comics surpass both versions of the governor and the governor did some vile shit in the comics they didn't have him do in the TV show

If the show was on HBO or Starz considering what they do with Game of Thrones and Ash vs Evil Dead they def would have not taken out any of those scenes

Caught up with the graphic novel and Here's Negan. {Spoiler}Not sure what I think about Negan's turn to the dark side. He was still a decent human being and killed a guy who was raping people. And all of a sudden, he's the Negan we know and love. I feel like the turn happened faster than it should've.

I guess they want to show that even tho he has an admirable side when you let him cut loose he's still a ruthless bastard and loves the violence. He was always rough around the edges and has some sort of quality about him about but when it comes down to it when he goes unchecked shit goes down

But I just feel like he was climbing a staircase toward the darkside and he skipped a few steps in that one scene. Basically, the slow burn sped up slightly. {Spoiler}Basically, he was trying to be a leader and seemed legit interested in helping people. Then he kills a rapist and is suddenly an evil leader.

They skipped a few steps unless they want to show he's in control of all his actions and he hasn't gone mad like the governor and he just decided to let go. We know Negan is smart but at least show us why he does what he does {Spoiler}{Spoiler} His rule of not "hurting" women or kids shouldn't have been a problem to get around. Could have at least showed what happens to men who don't abide by his rules with the iron.
