Anyone else see Dele Alli Show his true colours again last night? Those of a dirty little f***er with an attitude problem. Dele is the kind of guy that if he was elsewhere in Europe, people would toss beer bottles at his skull.

Arsenal XI for my lifetime
Seaman Lauren Adams Keown Winterburn Pires Vieira Petit Overmars Bergkamp Henry
Subs: Lehmann, Dixon, Campbell, Fabregas, Ljungberg, Wright, Sanchez
Henry's 2012 loan spell aside the first XI has no players from 2007 onwards. Telling really.

Wow, Liverpool got shafted there badly and I am not a supporter. Two penalties that never should have happened.

What a bunch of diving cheats Spurs are.
Think the pundits will be as ugly to Kane and Alli as they would be to someone like Sanchez or Aguero? Pfft.

An entertaining game finishes 2-2. Thought the officials got both penalty decisions correct (although the 1st was offside and should have been pulled back to then).

Even as a Liverpool fan, I can say there was contact for both penalties. Both times the players made a meal of it (and Kane obviously left his leg trailing for contact to be made) but all players in that situation would do the same and any Liverpool fans who say otherwise are deluding themselves.

So Karius is adjudged to have taken Kane down in the area and Jon Moss awards a penalty. His linesman says no, but he overrules him.
(BTW, Kane was ruled onside because Lovren bungled the through ball)
Later, van Dijk gets his knee up on Lamela and Moss very clearly says play on, but his linesman calls him back and tells him to award the penalty. Moss listens to that.
There’s gotta be a higher standard for officiating. This was appalling.

So far as I'm aware the linesman/referee conversation for the first penalty was nothing to do with whether it was a penalty or not and more to do with the linesman being unsure whether Kane should've been ruled offside or not. For what it's worth I thought the referee's got both decisions right and I think the linesman deserves an immense amount of credit for having the guts to guts to call the 2nd penalty.

For what it's worth I thought the referee's got both decisions right and I think the linesman deserves an immense amount of credit for having the guts to guts to call the 2nd penalty. For the first penalty, Lovren clearly tried to play the ball and made contact so down to the rules, Kane wasn’t offside after. When they showed it on MOTD2 you could see the Ref was unsure if Lovren made contact or not and neither him nor the Linesman could be sure. If the Ref isn’t sure if Lovren touched it or not and that was the only reason the Linesman gave for questioning it, then as the Ref is not 100% satisfied Lovren made contact, then he probably should not have given the penalty. Of course, if VAR was available, then it would have confirmed there was contact. For some reason, they didn’t use it at this game. The second penalty I have no issue with.. Was it soft? Yes. Did Lamela make a meal of it? Yes. Did Van Dijk catch him? Yes. Therefore it was a penalty.

Once we get VAR in the Premier League next season stuff like this will hopefully become a thing of the past. I just think we give officials a ton of shit when they get stuff wrong and, however they got there, they got two massive decisions right in my opinion today and I think they (the linesman in particular) deserve to be given credit for that.

VAR is needed. I know people didn't like how long it took to make decisions but, to me, it's fine so long as they:
1. Get the call right.
2. Add how long they spent deliberating to injury time.

So there’s an alleged Dele Alli sex tape doing the rounds. Whilst I’m not condoning that private footage may have been stolen and leaked online, I can’t resist wondering if the second she touched him, he fell to the floor.
