Remember when they had a subscription archive site? It forced the WWE and CM PUNK to some weird trademark thing so they'd stop advertising him.

"We renewed our TV deal that barely makes us any money and rely on international deals where our brand is hurt. Yes, this is the ideal time to launch a subscription service!"

Just when you think they can't do any more boneheaded business (not booking) decisions...
This can not work. At all. Ever. Period.
They already tried the diet version with the on-demand shit, and that seems to have died a damn death, so who in their right mind greenlit this?!

This is a really bad idea. Establishing a partnership with Netflix or Hulu or another, already established streaming service would've been a solid idea for a company their size. But their own standalone OTT service? That's not going to go well. Hell, the WWE Network had (has?) its own issues when it launched and the amount of content WWE has dwarfs GFW/TNA/Anthem.
It baffles me how this company is able to stay in business in spite of bad financial decision after bad financial decision.

What would even be on this "network"? Full run of TNA and...what else? The GFW matches they just One Night Only'ed, sure, fine. And then...?

That's the thing, this would have been a good get for the WWE Network beause more content there is great and TNA actually does have a bit I wanna see again or show the kids. But on its own? Not compelling enough to get me to pay for it. This'll be a no brainer for the TNA diehards on other sites and social media, and I see them being proactive in encouraging others to get it as well. For casual fans who inhabit places like this board I can see paying one month, watching what they want to see again, then cancel and move on with their lives. They just don't have THAT much content, let alone much good content to revisit over and over again with monthly payments. Plus they've already recently decided to air their classic content on the regular on Pluto so a lot of that itch has already been scratched. Where I see this being a plus is offering what WWE can't do currently with RAW and SDL, and that's airing their weekly Impact shows live on it. Create a way to keep up with current broadcasts since it's not exactly available everywhere anyways and they might get some more subs.

Their only real hope on this is that somehow they've managed to get their "partners" NOAH and AAA to license out their libraries as well. I don't see that happening.

I'm curious to see what they price this at(if it actually happens). The WWE Network has who knows how many hours of archival footage, original shows, docus, etc for $9.99, TNFW should charge no more than $1.99, but they'll probably drop the ball again and charge $15/mo or something.
