Not sure how deep your backlog is at this point, but how about Goldust vs. Razor Ramon at Royal Rumble 1996?

What matches from 205 Live are "shouldn't miss"? Recently renewed my WWE Network and got my TV to finally work with it correctly, so I'm down to catch up on some cruiserweight goodness.

Chavo vs Juvi from Bash at the Beach 2000 I miss the MIA. And teen Thug Mysterio is actually kinda cool. Your referee for this match - Lil Naitch (the poor bastard) And this is PPV, why do we have "Mark" Madden at the table? Thankfully Scott Hudson is there for balance. I hear talk of Jung Dragons/3 Count feud..... I need to watch their ladder match. "Juicerweight" (referring to Juvi) might come back into the vernacular for a completely different reason. Chavo knows how to CHOP. I forgot about Van Hammer (Sgt. Stash). Loved the Coast Guard shirt he wore. Points for this match starting out more conventionally and leading into the high-flying.

If you haven't seen it, the fatal 5-way from September I think it was with Tony Nese, Enzo, Cedric, Kendrick and Metalik.

He's Major Stash. Was meant to be Pvt. Stash but legit complained he was a low rank in a lame drug joke. Hammer....not the smartest here. You're totally right though about the match and the MIA. For all its Russo stupidity, there were bright sparks. This in wwe at the same period would have likely been better (if more offensive). Also, Mark Madden namesearches himself on twitter because I compared some bad commentary to his once. Apparently he thinks very highly of his own abilities and very little of fans who think otherwise.

Bragging Rights 2010. Dolph Ziggler v pre-YES Daniel Bryan is one of the most underrated matches of all time. Bragging Rights, also known as Survivor Series 2.0........ I don't care, Vickie Guererro is the manager that all current managers should aspire to. Your referee for this match - the original Black Ref (who has some infamy on this board). and Cole is in Bryan hate mode. This should be a match that Dolph brings up to rub Bryan's nose in - or at least the fans'. I'd boo him more for the fact that DB can't/shouldn't be wrestling nowadays. there's a couple of fat jokes tossed Vickie's way, but she's a heel so it's all right....? We see the beginnings of Ziggler's Heartstopper elbow drops and possibly the YES kicks Cole: Bryan has to surprise you. He can't beat you up Striker: He's beaten YOU up Cole: (not breaking stride) a number of times. I'm glad I got to see Bryan beat up Miz AND Cole in the same night. I'm digging the MAT RASSLIN of this match. There's some cross chatter at the table about Vickie - I Think Striker says Vickie's too old for him, and Cole says "Even if she was 24 she'd be too old for [Lawler]". Lawler: Vickie's about to bring out her flying monkeys Striker: (genuine laugh) There's a weird camera cut during one of the pinfall that turns away from the ring... wonder what really happened there. This match gets a "this is awesome" chant.... and it's well deserved. Sequence of pinfalls near the end, Striker calls it "Fish out of water" - I hate those sequences when I ref'd for a little bit. Finish is a little sudden but fits the narrative of surprising his opponent. Definitely worth the rewatch, thank you.

Yes, but what Raw/PPV is it from? Taboo Tuesday 2005 I would like to start by saying I loved the Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday concept and kinda wish they'd bring it back now that the technology is more up to speed with the fan voting (so we don't end up with an incident like that particular Evan Bourne match) The package for this match was shot mostly in black and white since Flair felt obligated to bleed for his favorite fan (HHH) and now I settle in for a broken Muta Meter - with Joey Styles at the table! The only reason I remember Flair as IC champ because I got to see Flair wearing that belt at a house show. Your referee for this match, Micky Jay Hensen (not sure if a poor bastard or a lucky bastard). This is one of those matches like the HHH/HBK series. The better the friends, the more damage they're willing to do to each other. The double nutshot on the ropes is almost comical, as is every time HHH does something Flair-esque. Ever see a wrestler mark out during a match? Now I remember this match - Flair cussing and flipping off HHH makes me smile. Ric Flair also believes there should be more biting in wrestling Styles: "Payback is a BLOODY Bitch in this match tonight!" Styles: (after HHH takes a blatant nutshot from Flair) There's a forearm right to the balls, and it's Pay-Per-View so I CAN SAY IT!" Late in the match: Styles: (As Flair grabs Hunter the sack) I'll say it [since you won't, Lawler!] Flair with the TESTICULAR CLAW! A match you could NOT do today, but man this was fun.

Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels - No Mercy 2008. My favorite ladder match of all time. HBK/Y2J is a "Fight Forever" feud - and this was during SRS Y2J to make it all the sweeter. I like the graphics for this show, they need to be brought back for Backlash this year. a little MAT RASSLIN to start, and EVERYONE! LOVES! THE BRIDGE UP! Jericho didn't protect himself on a seesaw ladder spot, I think that's where he cracked a couple of teeth. They focused more on HBK's previous injury (eye) in commentary. This is one of the few matches that I see the catapault used properly. Really appreciated the spot where Jericho sprawls out of the ring and Michaels rolls clear of the ladder as it snaps back. Minor gripe - Jericho wriggling back under the ladder so HBK could drop the elbow. A wild LANCE CADE(RIP) appears. He uses DISTRACT! It was pretty effective as Jericho retains after an awesome tug-of-war end spot. This was a ladder match with an actual story - this was not a spotfest by any means. This is a great match in the series of matches these two had in 2008. It's a wonder, regardless, that both of these guys came out of this match with their knees intact.

Any time you see a stipulation match on an episode summary, you know are you are in for something cool. I Forfeit between Cedric and Dar was some great character work, for example.

Little known fact, WWE called this their own match of the year, the same year we had HBK/Taker at Mania 26 for Shawn's retirement.

Starrcade ‘96 lookit all them shiny belts on Ultimo @_@ a 4 man booth of Schiavone, Dream, Heenan and Tenay.... thank you already and the bell just rung. Interesting conversation at the table about Cruisers going into the Heavyweight division, mentioning a Malenko/Regal match, might have to to look that one up. Lotsa MAT RASSLIN Hennan: (after a 2 count): He's gotta hook the trunks! Tony: No he doesn't! Dusty: He could break his leg, either one are the same...... much more a technical match than a high-flying match, as expected from a Malenko match. The four-man table actually works here, with Tony at PBP, Heenan and Dusty not arguing, and Tenay providing factual insight. There is NO WAY they have the talent at the table to pull that off today, and that's a shame. And EVERYBODY! LOVES! A BRIDGE PIN! And speaking of "No way"s, there would have been no way that Sonny Onno would have been allowed to wear his NJPW shirt to the ring in WWE at that time. Then again, I don't think WWE would have let Ultimo win, either.

Props to Gertner for doing the intros in Spanish. I found this on the Network and the audio is a little bit better than your link. Joey Styles: During the commercial break, Bobby Heenan called me with some Mexican jokes - I told him to stick it and have some respect [for Luchadores]! Serious Lucha Libre going on here, allowing these two to go all out and throw some ECW flavor to it. Production wise, I like the recap going into the third fall. There's gotta be a way to do it this way, live, without losing momentum of the match. Rey isn't heavy enough to break a table Joey Styles: AY DIOS MIO~!!!! (as Psicosis crowd-dives at Mysterio) Joey Styles: (as the luchadores are brawling on the floor) this technical high-flying match has turned into.... well, an ECW Street Fight! Really good hybrid match, and having a rabid crowd and Joey Styles calling it only makes it better.

Not sure how deep your backlog is at this point, but how about Goldust vs. Razor Ramon at Royal Rumble 1996? *opens video to a "Viewer indiscretion is advised" warning.....* This appears to be Marlena's debut .. and the first time I've heard commentary finding a man walking a woman to the ring "Strange". Your referee for this match, Tim White (the poor bastard!) Vince: (explains how Goldust has to beat Razor and not the other way around) Mr. Perfect: I KNOW, McMahon, I'm a 2-time IC champ myself! Goldust kept his "gyrations" to a minimum - am I mis-remembering Hall not really wanting to be in this match because of what Goldust does? Mr. Perfect: (as Ramon moves Marlena) Razor just threw that woman down! Vince: he did not! Mr. Perfect: "lady", then.... Mr. Perfect with an innuedo-apalooza as he calls this match. Vince: There's no telling what Goldust will do if Razor Ramon is indeed rendered unconscious Mr. Perfect: this could be a ha- *ahem* fairy-tale ending *chuckles* a Wild 1-2-3 KID APPEARS! He uses AMBUSH! It's Super effective! Hard to believe that this is the only time that Goldust had singles gold... and that he's in even better shape in 2018 than he did in 1996.
