Enjoyed the premier for the most part ...it was good not great but it suffered from the samething that last years premier did and that is not sticking out the major cliffhanger for not even an episode and other things felt rushed which is something that plagued them all of last season.

So, Barry's back already. They could've given it one episode. Just one. I see it;s not Barry in his true form, but still. And i kept laughing when the wings came out of the Samurai's backpack.

At the very least, the Caitlin storyline was intriguing.
It was pretty obvious that something was up with her because it would have been way too tidy otherwise.

I actually didn't mind them bringing Barry back in the first episode. I really don't know if I'd want to sit through multiple episodes without him (especially as Wally's a tad boring), and Barry's apparently been gone 6 months in the show's canon so it's not like they plucked him out a day after he left. It's still better than last season where they kind of fixed or settled everything within a couple episodes regarding Flashpoint; they clearly left stuff unresolved here.
Plus I mean, given what we know about what actually happens to you in Speed Force prison, I'm not sure there's much long-term use with showing Barry standing in a room looking sad.

I hope there's something more to it than Barry comes back and everything is kosher again. So he was in the Speed Force for 6 months, could be thousands of years in the Speed Force, he went mad and now he's all better after one episode? Come on man...

Brad Meltzer tweeted that his kid yelled "THE MONITOR!!!" at the end of the episode (and that even though he knew it was wrong he still felt proud of the reaction)....
.....and now I kinda wish it was the Monitor.
The Thinker's a cool villain to adapt, I was impressed. But dang, the chair and even a possible Harbinger gal with him - not a far off (and cool) guess.

Has Panabaker's acting improved any since season 1? I like the show, but she was so horrid I stopped watching after season 1.

I get that CW shows operate on a pretty tight budget, but did they really think nobody would notice that the place the real estate agent was showing at the beginning was Felicity's loft??

The show is getting to the point where its like Smallville, the show can't take a leap forward if they don't do something with Lana Lang. In this case, it's Iris. I think she's an OK actress but I'm done with the CW/WB relationship drama

Haha, I noticed that too. I was thinking it was supposed to be her loft at first until they showed it being in Central City. Also, Iris' portrayal this season is weird so far. They'll have her in silly situations like the first therapy session where she is pretty fun and then it'll turn to "You left me even though the entire city was going to be f***ing destroyed had you stayed!!" and it's sooooo damn grating. We spent all this time to get to where Barry and Iris are together and getting married; can't they have a period of time where things are kind of okay and happy? I still contend that Felicity at the height of her relationship with Oliver was worse, though. I honestly don't want to watch season 4 strictly because of that shit.

I'm so glad i stopped with all the cw shows. Christ do they not know that relationships can be healthy with no drama at all?

A couple seasons from now (probably season 6), they'll introduce The Monitor. Casual fans will see him and go "wait, didn't Davoe die at the end of season 4?" Spoiler alert!
