Wait, it's out now? I thought people were talking about it, including spoilers, a couple of weeks ago? They did a one day early screening before its proper release now.

The one thing I am concerned about is they gave Sivana such a similar power set to the Shazam powers that once Black Adam comes along it may feel as if we've seen the fight before. That's just Geoff Johns for you. He only seems to be interested in villains with the exact same powers as the hero.

Is this going to be a Die Hard situation where people debate if this a Christmas movie? 🤔

Something I really hope about the sequel (related to the stinger)... {Spoiler}I really hope they don't opt to recast Mister Mind with a name or whatever. Think the voice he has in the stinger is absolutely perfect.

That was pretty damn awesome. Zachary Levi killed it, no shock there. He was perfect casting. {Spoiler}- Love that in Aquaman and in the after credits scene for this, they continue to point out that Aquaman talking to fish, is a pretty f***ing awesome power to have. He commands an army of billions, it's not a power to mock.
- The birth of the Marvel Family was awesome. You knew it was coming, you had to know that Billy's true power was his family. And that was what the Sins were afraid of.

He gave the Doc, Black Adam powers for reasons. despite... Black Adam already literally being the evil version of Shazam!

There was so many instances of me going “Hey! It’s that guy!” while watching. {Spoiler}I really don’t know much about the character in general, outside the premise of kid says “Shazam” and turns into a buff superhero. Like, I knew the ShaFam existed, but was not expecting them to be a thing in this movie as I was watching it. Someone who is better versed in Shazam and his lore is going to have to explain the mid credits scene. I feel it would have more meaning if I knew more about the character, and there is a lot of history, here, so it’s a little daunting.

He's pretty much the most dead-serious threat in the Shazam rogues gallery. There's also a pretty decent possibility of them taking some cues from 52, which I'll post separately to avoid offhandedly spoiling that since it's REALLY damn good and is well worth a read. {Spoiler}In that he morphs into a monster called a Hyperfly with time- and space-altering abilities and tries to eat the entire multiverse. Comics are weird.

There's actually one thing that I wasn't entirely clear on during the movie: {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Why did the scientist lady disintegrate when she touched the door? Was it because it had the magic of the Seven Sins on it?

I’d rank them...
1) Aquaman 2) Shazam! 3) Wonder Woman 4) Justice League 5) Suicide Squad 6) BvS: DoJ 7) Man of Steel

It was a fun movie. Pretty much all the characters were likable. I liked the New 52 Shazam Origin but I think Billy was somewhat unlikable in it. I think Billy was a very likable character and you sympathized with him.
Still some sloppy moments that were somewhat rushed through... but overall very good

Just got out the theater. The hype is real, y’all. This was an extremely appealing movie, comic book or otherwise. Funny and warm without feeling too sappy.
I loved the way it incorporated the other DC characters into the mythos of the story, and the movie never overdoes it.
