Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior. I loved the bright, crazy designs on their ring gear; it looked like something from the future, or a Saturday-morning cartoon.

I started watching WWF in late 97 so...Austin, Taker, Kane, and of course, Kurrgan.
On the WCW side of things it was Sting, Goldberg, Hogan (solely because he came out to Voodoo Child), and Ultimo Dragon.

Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Hogan, Savage. Started watching in Summer of 1991. Found WCW soon after too.

Disco Inferno, Booker T, Scott Hall, and Dean Malenko were the ones I gravitated to right away.

When I started in late 2000, I instantly became a big Undertaker, Kane, Jericho and Benoit fan. I wasn't into the Rock i found him annoying, same with Angle, though I became a fan of both later. I also loved the Dudleys instantly.

WM8 was my first exposure to WWF, so from that Undertaker, Bret Hart & Ultimate Warrior were my early favourites.

Nice to see other old-schoolers around. Ultimate Warrior was my first favourite, followed by HBK as soon as he became a singles competitor.

With me coming back a few times to watch wrestling I’ve had a few of these moments.
Initially I was fan from around 88-92, I was drawn to Warrior, Hart Foundation and Fabulous Rougeau’s.
I came back in August 97 (remember that as it was Summerslam). I was taken in by Mankind, Ken Shamrock and Stone Cold (as well as Bret Hart and Undertaker as remenants of previous watching). I watched from 97-around 2001.
Came back November last year with NXT and immediately liked Bobby Roode, DIY, Asuka, Nakamura and Samoa Joe (though had knowledge of Bobby Roode and Joe from watching ROH and TNA). Main roster wise I liked New Day, Breezango, Kevin Owens and Charlotte Flair.

Macho Man. Jake the Snake.
Then became a devoted UT mark after he debuted.

Barry Horowitz (no joke).
I was fascinated by how out of all the guys who were made to lose all the time, he was the only one actually allowed to get a decent amount of offense in his matches.

I really remember starting to watch in like 93, so Shawn and Diesel we’re my guys. Always been a fan of big daddy cool, even if it’s not always a popular opinion.

Two for me.
1999 - Kane
Had a hiatus where I didn't even follow WWE at all until about mid 2006. When I started rewatching I think it was Edge who immediately got my interest.

Austin was the one I really remember immediently following, if only to see what vehicle he would drive to the ring next! Before that would have been the bright colours of Hogan, Warrior, Doink and the LOD when i was a nipper.
