In the early 90s it was pretty much all Sting. I would watch WCW recorded from 2am on Sunday morning and skip through to when he appeared.
I couldn't watch WWF and my experience was limited to a VHS of WM3. (I would watch the main event over and over without really enjoying Andre or Hogan).
It wasn't really until I started getting back into it that I had a favourite who brought me back week after week. In fact, I'd say I had three: Jericho, Foley and Regal.

In fact, if I'm being anal about this, I received a video of British wrestling around 1988 and fell in love with Kendo Nagasaki.

Summer 2004, John Cena and Randy Orton. Loved Cena's FU (pun intended?) attitude towards Angle when he was Smackdown's GM; Hated the way Evolution treated Randy and wanted to see him beat their asses.

I started with WCW and was immediately drawn to Scott Hall and, soon after, Kevin Nash.
Say what you want about their backstage influence but they just immediately came off as cool/fun to me when I was a small child.

Started in 1990, so the usual suspects like Hogan, Warrior, Demoltion, Road Warriors, Bossman, Savage, Beefcake, Sting, Doom, plus Bam Bam Bigelow (I remember digging his look in the old Wrestlemania NES game, and I wanted more footage of him, unfortunately the only vhs tape the local video store had with him was WM4, i was glad when he came back in 1992).

Ultimate Warrior was the best wrestler because nobody could defeat him in a fair contest.

I started in late 90-early 91.
Undertaker Jake Roberts Ted Dibiase ... apparently anyone who did stuff to their opponent after the match.
Hart Foundation. And randomly, Power and Glory. The Powerplex was my favorite finisher.
