I'm expecting a big angle at the end of the show that'll set the course for Bullet club going forward. Shame about Mysterio. I dont think anyone was expecting a classic, but the lack of novelty does make it feel less special.

Surprised there's no Jericho around anywhere, but it's a good, solid looking card. I like that it's serving as a stepping stone into Sakura Genesis and advancing some storylines a bit; last year's was good, but outside of the US title tournament it was very much just an exhibition kind of show, but this one looks like it's going to push things along a bit. Plus, any card that's putting Dragon Lee on the other side of an LIJ tag match and thus means we get the magic of him and Hiromu is immediately way better for it.

FYI if you don’t have AXS tv you can sign up for a 7 day free trial of Sling TV which has AXS.
I was bummed out I though I was going to have to watch the replay on New Japan World but now I’m watching it live.

Okada/Ishii vs. Suzuki/Sabre is going to be a lot of fun.

Guys! Chuckie T and YANO! TO! RU! as a team! Looking forward to it, but it's still goofy with goofy. Yano's at his best when he's paired with someone more serious, like Ishii or Marufuji.

Well this is a big show, and lij has a nothing match, so if Jericho's coming that's the perfect spot I'm. Quick ost match run in, code breaker for the pop, then exit

So Suzuki/ Sabre Jr Vs. Okada/ Ishii is interesting to me. It could end in three ways, which make sense and set up something interesting for Sakura Genesis:
Sabre submits Okada: Establishes the danger Okada's reign is in against Zack Sabre Jr, and makes him as a legitimate threat with serious momentum going into the Title match.
Sabre submits Ishii: Probably not by tap out, but being able to render the toughest man in NJPW unable to continue makes him seem all the more badass and dangerous.
Ishii pins Suzuki: Like you wouldn't want to see Ishii Vs. Suzuki for the Intercontinental Title? Especially give the year Suzuki's had as of late.

Talk had been of them facing each other at Dominion

Talk had been of them facing each other at Dominion Fozzy doesn't have dates from the end of April until late July. So if he doesn't come back to WWE by then, he could easily do Dominion or even the Cow Palace show in the US.

Underwhelming card. The main event should be fun and the Sabre tag sounds rad. Ospreay is a poor replacement for Rey. It looks like a "Road to" show rather than something special being brought to the US.

New Japan is entirely too reliant on all of this tag stuff. I look at that card and almost none of it really seems to matter. Even the main event...I don't get what the point is supposed to be. I'm thinking Jericho will do a run in during the LIJ match, since I don't believe anything he says about not being in NJPW anymore.
But yeah, the Rey aspect was a major selling point for this show. Take him off it and this card looks pretty lackluster, doesn't it?

For those of us without axs will this stream live? I had axs for the last one. But no longer do. Will I seriously have to wait to stream from njpw world?

Apparently at some point, the standard DirecTV package got AXS, so I'll definitely be DVRing this show (and everything going forward).
